As with most Samurai anime series the plot could hardly keep me entertained - although this particular one was somewhat interesting to me. The idea of revered head bands and those seeking them for power just seemed unique and entertaining on a personal level. I suppose it has something to do with the constant struggle for power which can be related to our world today. Anyways, if your watching this don't expect a fantastic plot or characters. Watch it solely for the animation and fight scenes. They are truly above par. And being only a 5 episode series, I was not bored watching through it and best of all, it didn't become a chore.

One of the few horror animes I have seen, and this one I have to say, was shockingly good in the horror aspect at times. Of course, being an anime series, you won't exactly be frightened out of your socks or anything. But i think it does a good job in instilling fear, uneasiness and the occasional chill in its viewers.

I never really liked watching mech type animes, and by mixing in samurai and mechs, the series was a little strange to me. But once again, being a samurai type series the action were good. This time theres a large cast (7 in case you didn't guess) of interesting and unique characters. Any deaths in this anime will truly fill you with regret as each of these characters are cool in their own way.

I enjoyed this series, but it wasn't something that I really had / wanted to watch. It wasn't something that made me watch episode after episode. It was more of a 'I'm bored and this seems cool to watch' series due to the plot it lacks. The animation is nice, the characters are even interesting at times, but the plot development just isn't there. That's the main flaw of this show. But if you're looking for some cool fight scenes this show will suffice.

The kid in this anime pisses me off like no other. I watched this after hearing about apparently violent deaths in the last episode. I now have my fingers crossed that a certain someone is the one who dies.

This show does pretty well in the comedy section. Of course, in most comedies involving a stupid character, they can get annoying at times. But its also the stupid determined characters that can motivate you to become as hard working as they are. This series will definitely make you itch for a ball and a court.
