For those of us that remember it, the final broadcast of Toonami was the most destructive if not painful blow to those of us that remember it, It introduced to us anime like Outlaw Star, Sailor Moon,DBZ,Big O and Gundam Wing just to name a few as well as shows like Thundercats and Silverhawks. I must confess that while I know that the way they ended Toonami was already a decent way of saying goodbye to us Toonami Faithful was difficult because Steve Blum (the voice of TOM for those that don't know)said that "giving that speech was among his most difficult to get through in his career."

and here is the speech

"Well, this is the end, beautiful friends. After more than 11 years, this is Toonami's final broadcast. It's been a lot of fun, and we'd like to thank each and every one of you who made this journey with us. Toonami wouldn't have been anything without you. Hopefully we've left you with some good memories. So, until we meet again, stay gold.

Bang."

And with those final words spoken, our childhood dies right?........WRONG.

The eternal flame that is Toonami still burns in the hearts of those of us that remember it and keep it's memory alive, through many forms and shapes.... and that's why I have taken the liberty to give Toonami a proper send off, a burial fit for such a legendary cartoon show loved by those who have witnessed it and have fond sweet memories of "the greatest cartoon show."

(a proper song for such a fitting end)

So with these final words let's all pay our respects to Toonami and let's never forget of the joy, memories and legacy that what's left behind, pagua sanpha, pagua sanpha, pagua sanpah.......so from the bottom of my heart I guess that what I'm trying to say is ,Thanks for eleven great years, Toonami. We'll miss you.
