This bond is made between a human and a youkai combining their powers to better one another. whether it be best friends, lovers, or just those seeking power, pacts are created and bonds are stricken. there are 3 types of pacts. Mutual pact: both human and youkai choose to be equals and share their power. this pact shows the trust in both members and is the pact with the highest rate of soul synchronization. a chain is created to represent the bond created between both parties and wraps around each ones hand. these chains are only reality to the participants. Youkai pact: The youkai is the dominant member and can control the human member at their will. much like a master and slave. this is the most uncommon pact since youkai are lower in numbers and therefore less likely to rule over a human. a chain is created to represent the bond created and wraps around the youkai hand and humans heart. these chains are only reality to the participants. Human pact: The human is the dominant member and can control the youkai member at will. this is the most common pact since youkai are fewer in numbers and less likely to be seen as equal in a human eye. a chain is created to represent the bond created and wraps around the humans hand and the youkais neck like a collar. Pacts may be stricken between human/angel or human/demon but not human/human or demon/angel. once in a pact, due to the chain both members will always know where the other is no matter where in the world they are. also when together the members can combine spells to make their attacks stronger. finally once 100% synchronization is reached the ultimate ability of the fusion pact is opened. Fusion pact: both members fuse into 1 being for a set amount of time. this skill needs 100% synchronization to use and is nigh impossible. few have created a fusion pact but the stories of them
