| It's time for the obligatory beach episode. Kinoko Inu had so much fun. :3 Hmm, a mysterious mushroom engraved on a tombstone. Touching flashbacks again. It was good to see Hotaru's grandparents. They seemed such a nice people. We finally got to learn more about Kinoko Inu's past. It was Hotaru's grandmother who found Kinoko Inu and brought it to their home. One more episode left. Next week we are probably going to learn the whole truth about Kinoko Inu. |

| Ayumi's ready to go, and so is Kinokoinu, but Hotaru still needs time to prep before making the journey to where Hanako's grave is. The accumulation of feelings and the transition from Hanako to Kinokoinu, the latter has been a blessing to him, as well as Ayumi to give him courage to be able to send well-wishes. But as to Kinokoinu's origins, more than just a mushroom carving on the gravestone, it's the secret of his grandmother keeping it in his yard for quite a long while after finding it in Hoshibato Park. When Hotaru's grandmother lived, the backyard is the family paradise, including the interesting mushroom (that would turn out to be the mushroom pup itself). And more than ever, Kinokoinu running around the beach, as young Hotaru enamored at his grandparents' yard whilst his parents were always away on business, and where the mushroom also found its way to the yard. Does Kinokoinu remember the full story of why it settled in the backyard in the first place? |
