----------------------------------------
A man in his room typing... and rolling, then back to typing.
He's a romance novelist. Anime showed his signing event for his latest novel. So popular among woman. Then there's interview.
When talking about even new novel in progress, he kind of wanted to leave now and just say what the posters around him was displaying.
Whenever he has an image about being chased in a space, he feel like throwing up. He has pressure.
He is Toriyama (Hoshiyama) Junichi, the novelist, and is seeing the doctor. He asked Toriyama about the bracket (Hoshiyama). The doctor and Mayumi never heard of him. Toriyama began to feel like throwing up again and the vitamin was injected.
The doctor asked for the origin of pressure. He cannot do so...
The company kept giving him works.
The doctor saw one of his novel with "Toriyama", "Ashita".
The doctor/ Mayumi wrote something! Toriyama feel that there's something in mind but afraid that he has used it before.
Toriyama gave Mayumi his latest published novel.
Toriyama is meeting a sport writer. He described that Toriyama's Ashita is a serious book.
Toriyama, for his job, is meeting Nabehata to meet a new writer. Reina, the new writer, sounds like Rie Kugimiya.
His pressure keeps coming because his novel is serial.
Nabehata is inviting Toriyama. lol@ argument between them!
The doctor and Mayumi were in the company and Arai called to come just because of Mayumi's illustrations.
Sport writer was also there, and he said the feelings they had when first became novelist, just to write something. That lifted Toriyama's pressure.
Mayumi actually read Toriyama's "Ashita" before! She said that the first time crying while reading a novel is that book!
I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
vomit vomit vomit. that is all. also, the fight between nabehata and toriyama is just fascinating. and now, I know that shinichiro miki one of the men with a very beautiful voice (but he's fugly, the animation doesn't help^^).
mayumi somehow turns at bit deredere in the end.
In the first episode I was a little frustrated with the live action-ish parts, but I seem to get used to it. It adds up all the uniqueness as well.
Great execution as usual. With 3 episodes aired, Trapeze is easily one of the best anime since the direction is the one aspect that I value the most. Looking forward to the next episode.
Finally a series to watch more than once over and over again without any loss of enjoyment...
Loved this ep! It was super funny and is it me, or wasn't that Konitan voicing Arai? I'm almost 99% sure.
That phone call to Iwamura was awesome. Iwata's voice acting skills rob me of my breath. Can't wait for his episode btw. As for the novelist, well, vomiting constantly must suck..xD
I really liked this episode. I'll definitely be watching this one again, because I know that my mind was racing in about 50 different directions with every scene and switch between frames of mind. I don't think I've like a show so much since Eden of the East.
I'm starting to really like this series. After the first ep i wasn't sure if i was gonna luv or hate this anime but now i'm definitely lovin it^^ can't wait for the next one.

lol..that was hilarious xD
I didn't want to hurt you but you're pretty when you cry. I didn't really love you but I'm pretty when I lie.
First I thought it was a rooster but now I think it was just a chicken; they are sometimes used to symbolize needless anxiety. The capper, of course, was the empty eggs - just terrific.
The discussion with the old, Norman Mailer-esq author was a delight.
ANd the '80's detective guitar riff at the end makes me truly laugh out loud.

She was reading it in episode 2. It was also the book that fell on the episode 2 pacient's private parts.
Naruleach said: great episode. did his ocd go a way in the end though? It was kind of unclear :/
It was happening because he was writing commercial stuff instead of what he wanted to write. Irabu said to him that he only needed to figure what was bothering him and get rid of it, so if it didn't end, at least he is on the way to end his ocd.
Did you notice that every episode starts on the same day and lasts more or less a week? And that there are always hints on the next pacient throughout the episode? And that the images on the ED match the pacient from the next episode?
I'd like to know what the animal heads mean exactly. Including Irabu's.
The animal head seem to be symbolic for the different patients. The chicken head this week made the most sense to me, representing anxiety and fear. It also worked so well with the part where he threw up the empty eggs representing unfulfilled, empty ideas.
All of the episodes seem to have relationships to each one. Tetsuya appearing in episode 1, and Junichi's book appearing in episode 2. We also never get a certain resolution in the first episode. I'm imagining a final episode where everything ties together really, but who knows.
Though the last one was better, this episode was quite nice. I liked the symbolism with him throwing up feathers, lol. This series seems very disconnected and I like that~
This one was alright, the first 2 were far better. I still love the animation and feel of the show, just didn't make me laugh much like the others nor entertain me as much. Next will hopefully be good.

The crane in 1 represents peace and wisdom, the rhino in 2 reflects a Buddhist sutra about not worrying about what others think or what you think about them but finding your way by yourself, I agree the chicken is probably anxiety and fear.
Also, I think chapter three has much inside humor about the Japanese publishing industry that we just didn't understand.
I liked this episode, but not as mush as the previous two (like some other people said).
I wonder if the show will keep being "refreshing" and original or if it'll end up being repetitive. Because I can easily see the formula used in these 3 episodes and I don't think it will change.
The crazyness and symbolism make up for it, but I wonder for how long...
I've always wondered if I have OCD. I kinda do the same thing this guy does with making sure something is right or that I didn't forget to do something. Obviously this novelist has a severe case though. Anyway, so far I love all the psychological problems the patients have and Irabu just keeps getting more and more funny. He just loves watching people get needles.
And after watching this ep and with some posts from others, things are starting to make sense.
The 2 egos will only appear after getting injected by Mayumi.
Not sure if who's the real one since the anime pic itself shows that the kid is inside that fat costume.
Also, the animal heads just like what some posts said, represents the patients' problem and personality. Great symbolism!!
And I think the message of the story is that to do what you wanted to be rather than thinking what people likes the most. Liked it =)
Got some laughs with Irabu forcing his draft writing to be published. xD
Glad that I am not the only one who liked the episode and didn't feel like it went on forever.

I can't seem to find the hints for the next patient, I can't see his name, or the person himself anywhere.
