Uguuu... confusing episode. o.o Lots of information was thrown at us... Heat is Seratiido's brother and Seratiido isn't Rahzel's real father... such family problems. And then Rahzel's real father shows up, but is killed by a mysterious stranger? Goodness me.

While it was certainly rushed, it was a pretty good final episode. There absolutely has to be a second season, though, with that cliffhanger.

Hahah, Seratiido and Heat singing Happy Birthday was hilarious! Alzeid being ignored was pretty amusing too.

The ending was so sweet with Alzeid and Rahzel~! Rahzel jumping and Alzeid catching her was my favorite part in the entire episode. I loved it. :D

Overall: This series could very well have been amazing. The characters are all entertaining, interesting, and have great chemistry with one another. If the series had been twice as long, the events more clear, and the plot less jumbled, it very well would have been an 8 or even a 9 in my book. As it is, it gets a solid 7.

That was a rush of information o__o I felt attacked!
Instead of a final episode that actually felt like an introduction to the plot of an anime. Crazy.

Now there HAS to be a second season. I want more Alzeid/Rahzel love!!!!
That random part with the sheep made me laugh rlly hard. It was the most random scene I have seen in a while.

I loved this anime even though it was so bloody short!
I feel like giving it a 9/10 but i dunno! I must consider this matter o.o;

Wow, that was...random and confusing! Although I did love the part with Seratiido and Heat and the whole birthday thing XD But ah, with this episode, I'm gonna have to lower my score to a 7 =/ I hope there's a second season. And like Ria said, if it had been longer and clearer, it could've been much better.

Exactly how I feel, about it being rushed and about a 2nd season.

I felt myself quite muddled, and Heat's intentions, and relations with Rahzel, confuse me more and more! Oh well, but what was with that shop owner and the sheep? Just thought I'd ask...

yea, instead of wrapping everything up, they introduced some new characters and thickens the plot to Rahzel's story .. therefore, there *must* be a second season (plus, I want to see the Rahzel-Alzeid relationship develope more).

Overall, a decent series but the manga is probably better

HAHA!!! On the FINAL episode, the title begins to mean another thing! This is NUTS! I love this show! That scene on the railroad tracks is one of the best I've ever seen in any anime, EVER. I cried, yeah, hell yeah I cried.

Second season or I kick some ass.

And ANOTHER THING. If this anime's soundtrack doesn't come out soon, I will go completely insane. The instrumentals in this show were among the best all season. That main theme that usually plays in just violin is to die for. Hearing it with vocals in this final episode only made me ache even more.

Yeah, I did feel like a lot of information was just thrown at me... But yeah.... I was hoping that it'd be a longer anime, though... I mean you finally get to see her father in just the two last episodes and then you want to know about her relationship with her father and her past, too... I also wanted to see more about Alzeid's past... Gosh, I do wish for a second season...

I was confused, that's for sure! The guy says travels are over, training has begun? And why are all the people in the village dead? And why didn't Alzeid go? I thought it was really abrupt when Rahzel says, well, it was nice, we'll write. Why didn't Alzeid tell Rahzel about her real father. Why was her father taking her away? Was her adoptive father some kind of prince? I thought leaving her (blindfolded?) teddy bear to rush to the back of the train was a sign of leaving the past behind or maybe just of how important her friends really were to her. Why didn't she use magic when jumping off the train? (Or was that the, "I'm not going to rely on magic." thing.) Why was the mysterious stranger buying a birthday gift, and was that gift on the floor of the deserted hut at the end his gift or Rahzel's real father's gift?

Questions, questions--argh!

It was a fun show. If there is a second season, the ending was decent if a bit rushed. No second season and the ending epic fails.

I'm looking forward to a second season announcement.

AND WHERE IS MY ALZEID X RAHZEL CONFESSION???!!! I wanted them to say something rather than friend, friend, and more friend! XP *goes and replaces the word friend with lover* Man you two are slow!! XP

but yes... i need MORE rahzel x alzeid lol

theyre so cute.
cmon.... the entire train scene was a set up for a kiss, or at least some confession.. but nooooo

anyways... there should be a season two.

btw... any insight in why animes like to end with the main character saying "Bang"
i know that the end of Cowboy Bebop and Black Lagoon (P2), the main characters both said bang. must be some kind of trend...

The last 3 eps were so much better than the ones before.

Great ending! Normally open-endings bug me, but the whole series was pretty random, so I think we shouldn't think too much about it. A love-scene with confession or kiss, would have been nice, but I was happy enough that they won't part ways. Maybe there is a 2nd season (would be great) but if not, I can live with it, too.

After all it's not about story here, but about characters. And we had plenty of this!
Never seen so many cool characters in one place. Greatest trio of all times! :)

8/10 overall, but the last three epsiodes were clearly a 9,479/10,000.

Edit: When I think about it, it's pretty funny. I really had a problem with many endings in the latest shows: "Shana 2, True Tears, Clannad" - but I was really happy with this ending. There were many unanswered questions, but it's better than to die from boredom in the last episode, because nothing cool happens. They had a rather great conversation and it was thrilling until the end.

Now I'm really curious as to what exactly the red-headed guy did to rahzel back then. I have some ideas as to what he did (read the manga), but I wonder what direction they will take it in the Anime next season. Seems like both Hatenkou Yugi and Spice and Wolf decided to leave the door wide open to second seasons.

it left you thinking a second season. Rahzel, Alzeid and the buff guy is up for another adventure. I did like the train part finally Alzeid starts talking and making a move also when he saved her from Solesta slicing rahzel. whats up with red hair guy?... came out of nowhere! but overall i like each episode something different can be sad but you end with a smile when them three hold hands togeather and walk on forward.

The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.

They should have introduced him back during the Solesta episodes, like they sorta did in the manga. Would have eased off the "Huh!?" feeling a bit.

stingy ppl giving it a 6/10

i think this anime was short and sweet and achieved in 10 episodes alot more than most other animes do. i think the ending wasnt rlly an ending its pretty obvious that its the intro to the second season or atleast an OVA. either way im looking forward to that. Hatenkou Yuugi was one of the few animes that was able to make me laugh hard and in the same episode made my eyes water sometimes even both at the same time. well that said i think this anime deserves a well earned 9/10 from me.

If only this anime got a better animation studio. It could have been so much better, it really could have. Oh well... I gotta start the manga sometime in the future. And ofcourse, a second season is needed. (oh studio deen, why could you have not made this a 13 episode series with a second season, or a 26 or so episode series alltogether). Studio deen has really been stuffing up lately.

The last couple of episodes raised my score from a 5 to a 6, then a 7. Thou ultimately, this show should stay a 6, i will be generous and leave it as a 7/10. It was enjoyable, even thou it could have been so much better. And Rahzel is <3

i hate the way of informations in it. too many at once. i hope for 2nd seasson. the realationship between the main charas was perfect! not this typical shy girl, but a funny way to comunicate between a boy and a girl. very funny comments... i want more, more, more!!! :-)

I agree with Panaru ;_; they can't leave me on a cliff hanger like that after I spent the whole night watching this anime without sleeping even though I have to go get my college books at 7am. I WILL SHANK SOMEONE IF THEY DON'T MAKE A SECOND SEASON. or I'll cry. and then shank someone, but maybe by then Pan would have kicked their asses and I'll just have to do the clean up? oh the decisions.

The anime really made me smile. It gave me back some of my desire to find more anime. For a while I was under a dry spell where I felt I had watched all the ones that made me curious. I'm antsy for a new season now >.>

What a series. I still don't know how I feel about the fact that Heat was never properly introduced. He just appeared and stayed ever since the beginning. But this turned out to be a lot better than I had expected. I was actually very skeptical in the beginning when I saw that the series was a) only ten episodes and b) the main girl was very young.

Honestly, I like how they don't push the romance. She's only fourteen (fifteen at the end) after all so it would be very weird if they really went into the love aspect. It was very entertaining as a whole though. The characters were just awesome from the start, very consistent and I love how Alzeid, even though he's one of those cold characters, he has his moments like when he let Romario sit on his shoulders and such. I'd love for a second season since I'm not much of a manga reader. Plus, the manga version isn't complete anyway so reading it would still be incomplete.

Overall, this series was great. I love the relationship the three share and how they always look out for each other. Second season, hopefully. :]

Interesting series. Has potential, but I feel that the anime was simply an advertisement of sorts to get more people to read the manga storyline, as they seem to have deviated quite a bit from the story in the manga.

I'd like to read the manga, but it doesn't seem like much has been translated and I can't seem to find english releases.

I want a second season! It was a masterpiece, overall. Yes, sometimes story was so slow but still wonderful. And yes, sometimes animation got worse but this is Studio DEEN's fault. So, because of this little faults, I'll give this series 9/10.

About the ending, Alzeid's present was so impressive that I'm laughing like crazy right now. Ah really, just when the two of them started to get used to each other... It shouldn't end like this and I think this series should have been 26 episodes or at least should have a second season.

I was under the impression Rahzel was a lot older when I first watched this. At least 20 considering how mature she is about everything. But to find out she was only 15 in the last episode is shocking. However, I came up with my own interpretation to this subject.

When she was 6 or 7 her real father left her. Then when her new father shows up she considers that her first birthday as "Rahzel" even though she's 7. So I make it out like she's really 22 or so, but only 15 as "Rahzel". Since she considers these two parts of her life completely seperate and talks about it the way she does in the last episode.

I prefer my analysis over the thought of her being jail bait. Thinking about it ruins the romance if she is indeed that young. *shudder*
