[center] YOH Minna! We at Vomic hope you are all participating in nominating "Best of 2014" nominations for Anime, Seiyuu, Characters, Couples, & OP/ED categories. We are again reaching the last leg of another great year in seiyuu and anime world and would like you all to give your say in "best of the best contest". Now moving towards the SOM of December, she's really a voice to reckon with, and you all can relate to it by the powerful roles she has done. She is Sayaka Ohara san. She can revert from really confident performances to a complete airhead "Ryuji’s mom from Toradora", for instance, to stone cold serious bad-ass ;). She plays extremely serious characters like "Wraith from Full Metal Panic" and "Selvaria Bles from Valkyria Chronicles", and the same lady played Kimura’s wife from "Azumanga Daioh". In fact, it is rumored that she could be the successor of Kikuko Inoue san in terms of sweet, motherly characters. I’d say she gravitates more towards the lighter (and maybe slightly ditsier) characters, but damn, she is virtually unrecognizable sometimes. She LOVES Kyoto, and has a younger brother named Takashi Ohara who is also a seiyuu. Here is another "Seiyuu +" - she is one of the few seiyuus who can speak fluent English, passing the Pre-1st grade in STEP Test in Practical English Proficiency o.o. Whenever her name pops up, almost always expect Jun Fukuyama to be sharing roles with her. In a work environment where plenty of female seiyuus try to sell just one voice, Sayaka Ohara san stands out for being so hard to place. Showing us what a great female seiyuu can do♥♥♥.
