| Hilarious episode The Op, the Kaiki, the disguises |

| Start a new arc, but it's hard to keep up with him, because I had come to sleep after all that talk albeit interesting, perhaps guilty of an opaque manner of presenting the facts; now maybe I know how they feel about our politicians. LOL Narrative that riconnete the narrative thread left stopped previously, curious to find out what's going to happen, but even more to understand the reason behind the choice of Kaiki help Koyomi and Hitagi. Not bad drawings and animations. |

| So nadeko was unreliable narrator how about a guy who tells you he's lying every 10 seconds. Jokes aside love his narrating. Gonna be a good arc. |

| This episode was nearly perfect. Senjougahara wearing those glasses and Kaiki eventually finding a reason to help her. It surprises me that Kanbaru was the answer. |

| Finally Senjougahara gets some screen time. With that said - I loved this episode. Plus some messing around on both sides - Kaiki and Hitagi. Hope next episodes will be as good because that one was very promising. |

| Guess who's back. Back again. Kaiki's back. Hide yo cash. Ep 21. Plot: Kaiki Deishu was relaxing in Japan somewhere when he gets a phone call from Senjougahara for a job. After a little threatening, he meets here with hilarious results. She tells of the upcoming situation with Nadeko and her and Koyomi's execution by the Loli snake Goddess and asks Kaiki to deceive this new goddess to save her, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's loli. After some deductions and some excuses, Kaiki accepts. Character: Kaiki returns in a new role and he is just as awesome. His need to lie to Senjougahara was funny but when she mentions the casual murder of him, he gets on that plane. That Hawaiian shirt was just a win. The most interesting part was at the end as he decides whether or not to help. His casual dismissal of helping to atone was just like him and even his use of Kanbaru is merely a half hearted excuse. Senjougahara was a treat as well. Her glasses was a good opening shot but she unfortunately lost to Hawaii Kaiki. Her mention of Oshino, Hanekawa (who she mentions has big boobs), the fact that she's keeping it a secret from Koyomi, and that she put on the table that she would sell herself to get Kaiki's help paint the picture that this guy really is her last hope. The fact that she keeps up her stone face with only the tightening of her fists showed how well she can act under pressure but even she had a limit when she threw the juice in his face. Senjougahara is a girl on a mission and fortunately she managed to get it. Animation/sound: I don't know why but Kaiki's theme is pleasant to listen to. And for some reason reminds me of France or something European. The latest ED was a nice melody and I can't count Snow drop as my top 5 Bakemonogatari EDs. 4/5. Be sure to question all that you see. For what you are seeing may be a deception. |

| Hmm, for Senjougahara to decieve Nadeko is... well, clever and logical in a sense judging from what she has become and what future they have based on promise to her but I can't help myself here and already see a catch. Still, it was pretty obvious Gahara was serious when she even mentioned selling her own body. It was brilliant how Kaiki tried argue with himself afterwards just to find a reason to help her. But to go such lengths to help his sworn enemies... just what Gaen means to him? Was he in love with her during his school years when old bunch was still together? |

| Being who he is Koyomi wanted to save everyone involved in the matter including Nadeko however Senjougahara clearly didn't care what happens to Nadeko so long as she can save herself, Koyomi, and to a lesser extent Shinobu. From my understanding Kaiki took the "Job" as he knew Koyomi had some form of relation with Suruga and feared Nadeko might find her way to killing Suruga as well(why he wanted to protect Suruga is explained in another arc). |
| Thank god for no recap episode. Senjyogahara has been greatly missed for sure. The scene was brilliantly done. The outfits between the two were comical to say the least. I also really enjoy the music that accompanies Kaiki. I'm excited to see where this arc goes! |
| Was the "sell my body" directly to Kaiki or general prostitution-esque to strangers for money? But damn I guess the coffee was cool by then. Kaiki must really love the Gaen family or rather seems like Kanbaru's mother is the key. |

| And with this episode arc Koi-- starts. It has a good start, and all the chips that moved in previous arcs appear to be that they are just pieces of it. I don't think she wants to sell her body, but she's potentially impure because to me she clearly still has feelings for Kaiki. She kidnapped Koyomi to keep him from meeting Kaiki and went all tsundere around Kaiki, panickedly calling his claims to know things about her "all lies" and overstating herself when saying "I don't love him... what an insult...disgusting!" which clearly indicated deeper feeling as otherwise she'd have calmly rejected the idea. |

You have to get with this series, things are treated differently depending on how the show portrays them. For an example, that fight between Karen and Koyomi where bridges were falling all around them was clearly dramatized and how when Koyomi 'assaults' Hachikuji, it is a comedy moment rather than a serious attempt to violate her. I'm not calling Hitagi a whore. I'm saying it's horrible, for her sake as well as Koyomi's, to say she'll do something like that. That was clearly a moment to be taken seriously, unlike the toothbrush scene which was comedic. This is an honest, dark and scarily plausible suggestion which is to be taken far more seriously. Ruining the sanctity of their relationship, never to be taken back, and offering herself to the man who destroyed her family. (albeit for his own reasons) Plus, how do you think Araragi would react to hearing her say she'll do that for him? The same way SHE would react if she heard he would do it for her. They love each other and neither would want the other to do such a horrible thing. I'm not a fan of Kouki but even I was proud of him throwing the drink over her after she suggested doing such a thing, for both her sake and Koyomi's. |
| Unlike Hachikouji the toothbrush scene became very real after a point and became a joke again after Tsukihi came in. As for what they would think... Koyomi almosr died for others while he was dating Hitagi. He was ready to die for Kanbaru and he was ready to die for Hanekawa as well. At least with Hanekawa he stopped because he thought of Hitagi. And now we have Hitagi prepared to sacrifice her "purity" not her LIFE in order for both of them to escape death. Yes it isn't a nice thing but in no way is she worse than Koyomi or should she feel ashamed.She is desperate for his life.If they are about to die why shouldn't she try everything? |
| Good episodes, loved the masks of Senjougahara and how Kaiki thought long and hard how he could bring himself to help her. All these mighty people want Suruga O_O |
| That op was odd. Senjougahara best girlfriend a guy can have giving her life just to save her boyfriend 😭😭👍🏼👍🏼 Maybe Kaiki is not as bad as I thought he was... lol love his weird mind that matches Senjougahara's maybe even wierder. |

| Amazing episode 10/5 I like the love that Senjougahara has to Araragi, they are a very good couple, hopefully they can solve this problem. I really like Kaiki's personality, he's a pretty smart character, I like that he's back in the series, It will give a lot of game to the story. |

| Couldn't enjoy the episode with the fact of Senjou seeing Kaiki behind Araragi's back... am I the only one who can't seem to like Kaiki? Overall pretty interesting ep, despite being hit and miss for me. The Gaen family also has popped up time and time again through this series, Hanamonogatari better deliver. |

| One episode in and I think this might be the best arc out of the whole damn series. Kaiki narrating is more than I could've wished for tbh- he's easily the most interesting character in Monogatari. Looks like this is the longest arc too *o* Also wtf "Now then, here's a tale where lies and truth intertwine, weaving in things that did and didn't happen. I'm going to tell the love story of Senjougahara Hitagi and Araragi Koyomi." *Cue bizarre quasi-romantic '80s manga parody OP of Kaiki x Senjougahara* Well he did warn the audience I guess lmao I felt like I was watching Edmund's Soliloquy from King Lear with a bit of the Fool thrown in XD Lots of drink throwing this episode and I laughed so hard when he turned up basically cosplaying Oshino. It's funny because you can tell that Kaiki wants to help Senjougahara but needs to find a logical reason to do so in an attempt to not go against his code or character. Wondering what the whole connection between him and Kanbaru is though- he was stood outside her house in Nise and now this. |

| Jeeeezzz, and i thought the time travel arc was already the best, now you give me an hilarious start for an arc involving both Senjougahara and Kaiki!? And best of all, the Araragi-Senjou love story narrated by that golddiga'??? THIS WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME. Senjou with those glasses was already too funny to be true, but seeing Kaiki with those fashionable sunglasses and colorful vacation-type of shirt just made me spit whatever i was drinking. I just can't handle it. Super interesting how not only Gaen, who is family and is sorta to be expected is interested that much in Kanbaru, but even the merciless Kaiki is willing to work for free for her sake!? Now, this is worth watching.  |

| Fucksake. In just one episode alone, I liked Kaiki already. Holy shit. Who would've thought he's a funny guy? Hahaha! Fuck you, Kaiki. My spleen when he's talking to himself in front of the mirror. Senjougahara had some sort of reunion with Kaiki (Oshino Meme's classmate or club mate and that guy who messed with Hitagi's life, who bullied Karen, and who deceived a lot of a junior high students Nadeko included). She had to ask Kaiki for help to deceive the Most Useless Character Out Of Monogatari Series aka Nadeko. Jeez. Someone kill Nadeko already. I can't wait to see her dieeeee! Hitagi wearing that weird, but funny glasses, though. Hehe. Hitagi throwing juice on Kaiki's face twice, then when she said she can use her body to pay Kaiki, he threw his coffee at her face. What the fuck? Hahaha! Aww, Hitagi really loves Araragi, huh? That she's ready to die for Araragi just to spare his life. I'm not okay. I love you, Hitagi! That was a very entertaining and hilarious af episode. Thank you, Kaiki. Fucking Kaiki. Hahahaha. That new ED is terrifying, though. Damnit! |

| Kaiki's monologue in the beginning is super interesting to think about. He straight up tells us that not everything in this story arc will be true. So how are we gonna tell which is which? Well I guess if he can guarantee the quality of the story, this should be fun either way :) I don't understand why Kaiki had to out-do Senjogahara in ridiculousness, but it was pretty funny haha. Seems like they can't find Oshino anywhere at all. I wonder how they got the lead that he's overseas. I miss both him and Hanekawa. So many great characters in this series, but that also means that no one gets enough screen time D: Senjogahara is really desperate at this point. Meeting and negotiating with a man she absolutely hates and even offering up her body even though someone attempted to sexually assault her in the past. Kaiki did seem to be upset when Senjogahara offered herself as payment, so I guess he isn't all bad. It also seemed like he was trying pretty hard to find himself a reason to help lol. Lastly, there are so many questions revolving around the Gaen family. What exactly is their connection to Izuko and Kaiki?? |

| Kaiki in Hawaiian shirt is what I need now. Also, him talking to himself and seriously thinking over every option makes him even more badass(albeit dick-ish). Oh, and Hitagi in these glasses... She'd make tons of money if she decided to sell her body wearing the- AHEM! And the last thing. Kanbaru is just like Mikiya from Kara no Kyoukai... She doesn't do that much to the story, but everyone wants her anyway. Overall, great episode. Nice start to another plot ark also, I expect the best from this one! |
