It was peak. That scene where Dio gets out of the carriage and those onomatopeias appeared, it was peak, and in that moment I knew that this anime was for me.

Well, to this day Jonathan is my favorite Joestar, and the first episode is a big portion of why. The sort of "pure good" that Jonathan seemed to embody from minute 1 really drew me in, and by the time he laid the smackdown to Dio after the infamous kiss, I had been reeled in.

I really liked it and thought it was great in fact all of part 1 was great and somehow the rest of the series was even better. But those first 3 episode were totally different tonally then the rest of the series.

Jojo instant got me. Before i watched it i was so annoyed because as a non jojo fan you cant get this shit. But after the first episode i was thinking "This is great!". Just everything was happening in part 1 and it was overwhelming and fucking sick.
