The jade dragon bracelet, the black turqouise brouche, the flaming phoenix necklace, and the white tiger amulet are the 4 items worn by the generals and said to hold their very essence. Each one is protected by the greatest magical barrier created by master sugata himself. To imagine it stolen is inconceivable really. Whoever did so must be a truly powerful mage. All we have to go by is this note the person left. *hands nero a piece of paper*

sounds like there's something special about those items if they are together, is there any special power given to the controler of those artifacts ?
*Fujiko walks up to the desk* "Have you heard any information about the three other artifacts from the other museums? Has anyone attempted to steal those? Also we haven't seen the artifact ourselves, is there any archive where you have pictures of it so we know exactly what we are looking for?
Lady: *turns to blake* with the very life essence of general white fang no one has ever been allowed to touch the item except sugata himself. No one knows if its power has dwindled or if its even true. But if it were, the power of one of the greatest generals of all time would be at their disposal.
*turns to fujiko* I have heard no news of the other artifacts being stolen. As soon as the amulet was the other districts tripled security so its practically impossible to even see them right now. As far as a picture... we have none. The amulet was heavily watched, not even flash photography was allowed of it. But I can tell you it looks like a four pronged star with a fang in the middle of it. And black trimmed edges.

so, if that artifact was so ecured, there is a posibility that theaf was camouflaged in one of the guards and steal it when no1's been around, right ?
Lady: the museum is a lively place. I don't see why we would have any enemies... and for it to be one of the gaurds cannot be true. They were hand selected by eishirou sugata himself, the thought of betraying him isn't even possible for them to conceive.

Ais: riddle? *looks at the piece of paper* hmmmmm well there are 6 divisions in the byakko district. The food divisiona, the housing division, the temple shrine, the byakko dojo, the museum, and the police division. Maybe that will help with where to search?
On the other note. This part "though the answer you conclude may be meek" might mean that the answer to the first line isn't the first thing we would think of. Gluttony and greed refers to food and treasure... and the eye of the tiger could refer to us being able to solve this riddle. Like if we don't look closely enough we won't find out where they are?
Nero: wonderful so now we still have no answers and just questions....

"If we arrange the first part like this it appears its not our mouths we stuff. Maybe the first look at the riddle is the directions to a place. Then when you look deeper you know how to get into the place.
I think mouth in this case might be referring to a river. Certain animals like to block river water with lumber. So maybe its telling us to see a door we must stop the flow of water. My guess is near a waterfall, where rubble collects. I think thats where we will find the theif."
*Rips the page out* "Fine! if you think its the obvious answer. Some riddle if its that obvious. If I was a thief i wouldn't want to make my presence obvious." *Crumples it up and throws it in the trash*
Nero: *puts his hand in front of kurisu staring at aexl* no no what did you say?

Nero: .....under the rubble is where we slumber.... underground. I think their base is underground. And the first part must tell us where the entrance is... but what does that have to do with gluttony and greed?

Maybe its saying mouth doesn't have to do with food but with someone who is greedy. So like money or rich objects

Aexl: *looks at kurisu and sighs* yea I guess so.... *holds onto kurisu arm and looks at aisaka* lead the way.
