In case you are wondering, the reason why this time is more useless than before is because 4 characters (Inaba Himeko, Kaga Kouko, Iona and Touma Kazusa) did not participate in any matches during the 1-3 stage. To counteract the impact on their scores (and the scores of those who face them) from this I have assigned each girl 20% to the vote in that round, which is the average vote % acquired by all other contestants at that stage.
How it's calculated:
Nova 1:
1. Record the arena and vote tally for each girl in each round.
2. Calculate the % of the vote obtained by each girl in each round and record this as well.
3. Average the % of the vote obtained by each girl across all 4 matches
4. For each round, multiply the girl's vote % in that round by the total of the figures calculated in (3) for the girls in that arena.
5. Average the figures obtained in (4) for each girl across all matches
As you can see, these two methods are very similar (the highest rank that actually differs being at 13th). This is largely because, by this method, every group has exactly the same strength total, and everyone faces every other member of their group (and noone else) exactly once.
So we weight the groups using the scores from prelims 1. By then readjusting the points, this enables us to also put them on the same scale as the earlier one was.
Finally we can average round 2 results with round 1 results, and then combine these with the results of those who progressed in N1 to get a total score rankings for all the girls.
NB: In this list the girls who progressed in N1 are marked with a single asterisk, whilst those who progressed in N2 are marked with a double one. Those who are not yet in but came between 2nd and 5th in their arena have brackets with their position in their N2 arena. Those with (2) or (3) are seeded to progress to the RS in N3, whilst those with (4) or (5) are seeded to win their first match, but lose the second
