First of all, I pray that someone is still lurking around this forum to answer my questions, seeing as the last activities were around one month ago =/. Anyhow, I have several questions pertaining to the Anime and the manga.=, but here is some background.

I started reading the manga, and was pleasantly surprised of how good it was, until I hit chapter 32 at least. Assuming most of you guys have both read and watched One Outs entirely, you would know that by Chapter 32, I was hit with a cliffhanger, then a sudden jump to chapter 54. Please do not mention anything beyond Chapter 32, or the anime (have not watched yet) in specific details or spoilers as I proceed with my general questions.

1. From Chapter 33 to 53, since they are missing, how far in the anime will I have to watch to reach around Chapter 54? I plan to watch from the beginning of One Outs to Chapter 32 of course, and then the anime part of 33 to 53 since I don't have the manga counterpart. Which leads to my next question...

2. Finish watching the anime, then read up on the manga? I read from sources that the anime ends at around chapter 80 manga, but I didn't look too much into that since I didn't want to read any spoilers. Also, I saw how from Chapter 63 to 81 were also torn out, so I assume that the manga is trying to make us watch the anime and not read =/. And finally....

3. Why? Just why? I mean, what is the real reason that these certain parts of the manga were not translated, or just not available? I made assumptions in earlier parts of my post, but I want to know if my assumptions were true, or for whatever the real reason is.

4. (edit) I just thought of this just now, and I was thinking, how different, or similar, are the manga and anime? I mean, should I be expecting a great adaption of the manga into an anime, or would I be saying at the end of things, "Well, each one was different, but they each had their strong points"?

Thank you for your time, and happy late St. Patricks Day xD.

Hi! I hope someone gives you a clearer / better answer. It's just that not many people visit this section.. i guess? I started to read manga after anime ended and continued where the anime left off. (I started at chapter 82)

As for your 3rd question, the translators are going to finish translating it to the end, so the middle parts which are covered up in anime are less trivial for now. It's all up to people who translate these series so there's nothing much to do than just accept it as it is for now.

Of course manga would be more detailed (as they always are) but the anime was very well executed so you should definitely check it out.

Anyhow i hope someone gives you a clearer answer on this :) simplest way to get this series through is start with anime and then continue with manga but i guess it depends on each individual :)

Don't know the first question.

For the second question, Lylaaz is correct that you need to read ch.82 to see what's happens next. But, after you read it the anime where it ended doesn't start off Lycaos. Instead, it starts off right after the results of the final match with Lyacos and so forward on.

For your last question, the manga continues very far on what's going on than where the anime left off. Yes you should expect to keep on reading One Outs because most of the majority arcs are a bit different with that Lycaos are still there in One Outs.
