| good ova, could've been much better if it was a bit longer, it felt rushed imo. Takezaki's influence is all over this tho, not as much as on genocyber tho, not much exploding heads here lmao. 7/10 |

| This is pretty solid cynical cyberpunk with a consistent message and narrow focus. The way they've linked mechanization, sex, and pain in every episode works really well, and helps the bloody imagery seem even more visceral. There's some primal fear shit going on with these characters. 'When we alter the body we alter the mind' is something we need to take more seriously as we get closer to having this kind of tech. |
| Not the most fitting intro and outro music I've seen. Some jazz would've been more fitting for the mood, maybe. Norio Wakamoto playing a cop is surely not coincidental given the details of his personal biography...and it surely looked a bit like Robocop. Billy's death was somewhat similar to that of the Phantom Woman. I didn't get the part with his eyes getting blasted out with a stab though. Was it a side-effect of drugs? I wonder if the dutch angles in this OVA are a Dezaki influence. And those dark diagonal lines in the frame too... It's just *too* dark, visually. The OST for this OVA is longer than the OVA itself, lol. P.S. The ADP building surely didn't have a cemetery on its roof in previous episodes or BC, right? P.P.S. Was foolish of me to expect anything in-depth about Leon from this OVA, I guess. |

| great episode, great ova, I think it deserves an higer rating. I loved the recurring themes through the episodes and i really liked this one too, with billy's tragic and kinda touching story. Good ost ut not awesome visuals, even if the animation style is cool. 8/10 to me, short but sweet. |
