The one thing that bothers me the most in this anime is how there are situations where player A'S 200 km/h serve is more forceful than player B'S 200 km/h serve. Also lol balls knocking rackets out of players' hands.

The anime is basically implying that tubby-boi's serves are faster than any and all opponents Ryouma has ever faced, including the up and coming pros in the US open. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty physics of it, but basically when returning a tennis ball, the most important factor when it comes to the (impulse) force on the racket/the force felt by the player, is the incoming ball's velocity.

I just don't like how there are players who can hit the ball so fast that it's "invisible to a regular human eye" but somehow those balls can be returned easily so long as the player figures out how to make contact with it (be it predicting the ball's path or possessing incredible 1000fps, slow motion vision)—those invisibly fast shots should be, without a question, the most forceful, racket-flying-out-of-hand inducing shots in the entire show. The peanut gallery in this episode never mentions tubby boi's service speed and they clearly have no issues seeing the ball in motion. It's as if force and velocity have no relationship whatsoever in the Prince of Tennis world. It's maddening.

All of the other absurdly exaggerated, and/or physically impossible shit that goes on in this show doesn't really bother me since for the most part it all follows some form of consistent logic within the anime's universe. There is no consistency in the way that momentum, more specifically the velocity component and (impulse) force, or rather "power," relate. It completely depends on how many invisible jet engines the opponent is able to attach to the ball per swing.

It was pretty satisfying when the ball hit the face of that annoying fatass in the end. Him constantly making fun of Ryouma's height was so irritating, so seeing that at the end was great.
