| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is interesting. Tadatsuru Teori showing up is a surprise. That's the price to pay for trying to become an immortal I guess. I think it's interesting that they reveal more about Teori and Gaen's relationship. There's also story development about Araragi will face in the future. Looks like the episode has Araragi escape Hell with Mayoi. I thought that scene was priceless LOL. Not much time has passed since they escaped anyway. Glad to see Kisshot again. |

Idk why CR decided to put both together but combining them is about 43-44 minutes (each episode individually is 22ish mins) 4 episodes aired today. Total is 7 episodes for this second season special. |

| Man, all that convoluted planning, including everything that happened in Tsukimonogatari and him being killed with that Kokoro Gatari, was done so that Araragi can go to hell and get resurrected with a Yume Watari and come back as a human. And of course Oshino Meme was able to predict all of this. So we find out that Tadatsuru was always dead after a failed experiment and that he was just an apparition in the real world who could control dolls. So the Tadatsuru that died in Tsukimonogatari was just a doll. Also, lol at Araragi bringing Hachikuji with him. So I guess we'll be seeing more of her now. And it seems like Gaen got what she wanted. Now that Araragi's back, I'm assuming that Shinobu's gonna go back to her loli self. Though, Araragi came back as a human, so does that mean that Kiss-shot gets her original form? Great arc, definitely a lot better than I was expecting it to be. 5/5 |

| 5/5 Super glad Hachikuji is back and out of hell now. Shinobu is also back to her original form and Koyomi is back to normal. So the counter attack begins. I'm really stoked to see the rest. |

| I don't remember Tadatsugu's character at all, it's been way too much since I watched some parts of the series. Due to that I don't remember the events that were mentioned to be planned, but hey, Mayoi is back, not bad. |

| So basically Gaen killed Araragi to take away his vampiric side and ressurrect him as a full human. With his death, the bond (made in Kizumonogatari events) between him and Shinobu was broken, so she was able to get her full form again, as Kiss-shot. And the enemy is Oshino Ougi. Wow. This episode was amazing. |

| Wow this episode blew my mind, the whole revelation about the reason for Araragis death and how Tadatsuru and the others were involved with it was just fascinating. I'm glad thar Hachikuji made it back along with Araragi. Mature Shinobu is fine as hell <3 |

| I liked this episode since we get a bit more info on Tadatsuru and how he operates. I was pretty surprised when he told Araragi that the plan all along was for him to die because it was necessary. And of course Araragi can't leave hell without Hachikuji. It would've been to painful for probably him and me watching it. |

| Pretty ingenious way of severing the link between Araragi and Kiss Shot. But knowing them they just might redo it anyway. I've always disliked Gaen's smugness. Just before the Monogatari series ends, I'd like for her to get one good punch to the mouth or similar. Just something that leaves her speechless and bewildered. |

| First half was a bit rambley, but the second half was entertaining. Amazingly it was that simple to pull Hachikuji out of hell, I thought that would happen. |

I like to mark them as "Complete" when I actually finish each episode so I can't even start watching until I get this information somehow lol. |

| Interesting to see Tadatsuru again. Those revelations sure were something. Also so happy Araragi dragged Hachikuji out of hell. Hope the Darkness won't strike again. |
| Senjyogahara Hitagi was as usual awesome in this episode! Her date Araragi was satisfying! Senjyogahara already knows how to drive while me and Araragi still doesn't! lolz Ougi asking for help to Araragi ... quite sinister if you ask me! 5/5. |

| Senjougahara and Araragi are undoubtedly the perfect match within this anime, every word, every look, every scene in which they participate makes me very happy, they make everything super interesting to see, in a word, they are perfection. 5/5   |

| Shinobu: "You killed Araragi? I'M GONNA TEAR YOU APART!" Gaen: "Kiss-shot, relax. He'll be back in a bit." BASED IZUKO! Shinobu is right behind Gaen ready to rip her to shreds while Gaen is just sitting there chillin'. So Gaen's plan was to tell Tadatsuru to play along with Meme so that Tadatsuru can tell Hachikuji to pick up Araragi who is told that his vampiric side has been severed from his human side by the Kokoro Gatari after Gaen kills him so that Gaen can save Araragi with the Yume Watari? She really does know everything. I didn't expect Hachikuji to be dragged out of hell along with Araragi. And Ougi was the mastermind behind this conflict? Lots of revelations this episode. Well let's she what Gaen has in store for Ougi. This is going to be fun! |

| I completely forgot who this guy even was to be honest, and his story felt a bit too long (no wonder Hachikuji had to interrupt him >D), but nevertheless it was a decent episode with some intriguing twists. Genuinely didn't expect Araragi bringing Hachikuji back! I'm not gonna question this too much, but shouldn't her real body be out there, rotting somewhere underground lol? Anyway, there's no time to complain, the best girl is back! If this isn't the perfect loli, I don't know who is.  <3 |

| oowee this eps was hella good! much info dump and glad to see the characters back with their flair, i really enjoyed the explanation behind everything that happened and how ougi is the one behind it all. OH GODDESS when i saw shinobu at full power and beauty galore about to try and 1 tap gaen sama im catching chills like its about to go downn but damn meme is a beast predicting it all and shouts out to yume watari |

| So Gaen planned this to get rid of Koyomi's vampire side. Unfortunately I still don't remember everything from Owarimonogatari 1, even after reading a plot synopsis. So as we all know the enemy is Ougi, but do we know already why Gaen wanted to get rid of Koyomi's vampire part? Anyway it was also nice seeing Shinobu again, especially in adult form :3 |

| FAKK! - This show is soo good! Everything was carefully planned to eventually make it so Araragi lost his vampiric side (to not fully become a vampire) and eventually be ressurected. I love how he just doesnt care and takes Hachikuji with him x) Tadatsuru is a cool guy after all, I like how Araragi thought the same and just wanted to have a good conversation with him some day ^^ Ougi was the one that wanted Araragi dead, I'm sure we'll find out why. Also Kiss-Shot is fully back! - Her original form <3 |

While Ougi said that Araragi is a fool, that maybe an understatement if Araragi doesnt realize something from the fact that Ougi request Teori to exterminate him. Wait wait wait. If Araragi was revived then Mayoi should be revived also. Yet Gaen said Mayoi was still an apparition. Gotta secure ur campus life lol before the war. |

| I had forgotten how bloody 'high school' this show is. Mayoi saves it though. Mayoi is the best. Also, full vampire lady, wowzers! So much going on in dialogue and old plot, just dumping plot, my head hurts. C'mon Monogatari, it's show, not tell! Do Japanese kids just eat up plot dumps told in cool, fast dialogue with a spoon? Are they dark and edgy? |

| Of course he just had to drag Hachikuji out of hell, quintessential Araragi. That reveal about Oushino felt like it deserved more weight, but so much was already happening. |
