Hello.
So, as the title says, I've just completed this series and, while it is, undoubtely, an amazing anime, there are still some questions that make me kinda confused. I'm not sure if these would be answered on the manga/novel or if I missed something. Would kindly appreciate if someone could enlighen me about them:

-I've noticed that there are different timelines that complement each others with the character's presence, which is, pretty much, the point of this anime. There's a pre-Flying Pussyfoot arc, which encircles around the feuds and alliances between the big families and how the elixir was passed from hand to hand. And then, we have the Flying Pussyfoot arc, in which a bunch of criminal teams try to take control of the train, to please whatever intentions they had. My question is: are these two arcs interwoven by something else than the characters (Miria, Isaac, Firo, etc.)? I didn't notice any reference to the elixir in the FP arc, so, I guess that the immortals were just there and happened to encounter with the other criminals (Nice, Jacuzzi, Ladd, etc.);

-What about Claire/the Rail Tracer - was he an immortal? His speech appears to reveal so, but I don't remember seeing him during the elixir/immortal's history part;

-Czeslaw was sure that there was an immortal with him in the train. How does he know that there are other immortals in FP?

Thanks and pardon for my broken English.

-Pretty sure Claire is not an immortal, he is just really strong.

-I also didn't understand how he knew this, I feel like they explained it poorly in the anime idk abt the LN. So I checked the wiki and apparently the immortals cannot use a fake name in the presence of another immortal. Czeslaw was actually going to say his fake name but because of Isaac and Miria he was forced to say his real name.

anime is just made in that interwoven manner. its just a anime thing

Rail Tracer is not immortal. it is a solipsist...kind of maniac. i think u misinterpreted his words

Immortal has to tell their true name in presence of another another immortal. that how Czeslaw knew it. because he said his real name when they were talking

Isaac and Miria are immortals and immortal can't lie about their name to each other, that's how Czeslaw knew there were other immortal besides him in the train.

The Rail Tracer/Claire is not an immortal, he only believes that he is because of his ideology.

I mean LN are written in a more linear fashion than anime. each light novel are for a perticular year
volume 1 is basically 1930s whatever happened between firo and Szilard and related people
volume 2 and 3 is basically Flying Pussyfoot incident
volume 4 covers eve trying to find her brother and conflict between the two family
volume 5 is basically from where they took many parts of 1711 incident first immortality incident shown in anime. though actual volume is not about that year. 1700s series ln came way later.
anime shows it all in a interwoven manner
