he isn't written as if you're supposed to sympathize with him, on the contrary, he is meant to be hated by both sides. and seeing as how the goal was archived with your opinion of him, that'd probably make him a well-written character.

People are often contradictory. People aren't perfect. Suzaku is a good character Because he is annoying. He is just trying to do what he thinks is right like everyone else, he was just sometimes wrong (like everyone else).

I used to hate Suzaku with every ounce of being. Then by the end of the show I came to have a sort-of-respect for him. The FLEIJA incident wasn’t his fault and in the end he made the second biggest sacrifice in the show behind Lelouch. Also, a cuck is a person who let’s someone sleep with their partner or at least someone knows it’s happening and does nothing. Neither applies at all so the question doesn’t even make sense.

In his defense if she's hot enough then I understand betraying your country for her I don't think that makes you a cuck I just think he wants to be on the winning side and he's obviously not a good person but I wouldn't want to be living as one of the oppressed if I can avoid it his motivations are more complex than people think.

He isn't complex, he's a pathetic mongrel who helps racist Britanian's subjugate his own people because he's afraid to fight against the enemy he thinks can't be defeated. People like that come up with excuses like "we can change them from within" for their cowardice, and it's all nonsense.

Not to mention, this character has a bigger plot armor than the protagonist of the series, able to outspeed even turrets, kick them and destroy them. Almost a Superman character in the universe where everyone is getting shot to death around him.

"Complex" character my ass. What a joke.

At-least MC is driven by more than the thirst for princess pussy and knight-hood, serving racists.
