Couldn't find the appeal surrounding this anime.

I l liked the comedy,a little bit. But mostly,they repeat the length jokes so much. I do like romance but compared to other works,i find this romance lackluster. Especially when it comes around the two protagonists,i can't find any chimestry between them.
What do you think?

Yeah but at least it tries something new compared to others

Yeah one of annoying reasons.
I guess if the anime released in our current time,it would not score a high rate like in the past

well it didnt age that well but nevertheless it was a pleasant watch with some cute moments and cliche jokes

I don't think is a masterpiece, but I think is better than a lot of other rom-com out there. Because I mean, at least this one actually has romance.... We can actually see them work towards discovering their feelings for each other and trying to make things work out.

I personally really appreciate that, bc is not common to have a rom-com anime where they actually face their feeling for the other. Actually a lot of rom-con end without even giving us a confession, like c'mon, why is it call romance if they won't confess, end up together or you know do any romantic stuff 🥲

I also really appreciated the fact that the drama don't take too long to solve, cause some other animes take the whole damn season just to fix one simple misunderstanding smh

I faintly remember this show, the male lead was kind of toxic if I am not mistaken. Despite tge fact that the thos show tried something different, it lacked alot in creating a likable female and male lead...

I thought it was a fun gimmick and the main two characters were really charming to me idk. It's not gonna like change your perspective on anime or anything, but it's fun to go back to older animes like this once in a while. It's a different vibe.

i found the first eps interesting and enjoyable but by ep 8 and until the last eps i though it was pretty average, nothing outstanding, it got very repetitive. I still thought it was good but i dont think its belongs up there with the best romances ive seen.

Absolutely. I haven’t rewatched it so can’t say, but I doubt this series aged well.

Exactly. Even the anime in ur pic gave a better romance,though it was heavily dram-and music- focused.

This anime obviously didnt age very well, but the dynamics between the two MCs was pretty good overall. I understand why many cherish for it, it might've been very cool back in the days having this not romantic, childish romance by a time when shoujo stories were all very "dramance"
