| So imagine a normal medieval setting anime fighting or something like that but with a girl couple. When searching through the top "yuri" ones all i see is drama romance etc. but i don't want that to be the main focus. just them there as a regular couple would be. |

| I'm assuming "medieval" was an example not a requirement. A few are more yuri-bait than yuri but at least involve ff partners involved in action situations. Lycoris Recoil -- Modern setting, ff partners (not a couple). Saki -- Board game (Mahjong); plenty of yuri couples and/or ff bonding. Though not "action", the matches can get intense. Mnemosyne: Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi -- Yuri partners, some action. El Cazador de la Bruja -- Yuri/hinted yuri partners (not at first); some action. Murder Princess -- Partners in this case switch bodies, fairly action-y IIRC. Simoun -- SF, all-female planet; pilot pairs are required to fly special combat craft which are the main defense force employed in a war. Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran -- Medieval; non-yuri ff partnership develops between a wandering female samurai and a female Chinese martial artist. Occasional combat scenes. Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon -- Fantasy/magic demon realm; the protag's maid is constantly attempting lewd stuff; some action. Cute, silly & humorous. Cool military attire. Kiddy Grade -- SF; several hinted yuri partners. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou -- Postapoc; non-yuri partners explore ruined/deserted city. Little to no action. The closest to your request from that list would be Kiddy Grade & Simoun. If you take away actual yuri (ie. just ff partners involved in something) then consider Kazemakase Ran & Lycoris Recoil. |
