THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

I'm very glad to see Schenkopp again (especially so early, I hoped for an appearance in Spiral Labyrinth). Looks like we'll get some more insight on the Rosen Ritters. I like that :)
And on the imperial side we save some strange characters. Firstly the old man, I still don't entirely get him, I believe he really has alzheimer or something similar. And than theres that other Commodore who seems devious.
Looking forward to seeing how this will develop.
I probably regret this post by now.

The old man is probably one of the more...unique characters I've seen in the series. I find it amusing when he falls asleep in the middle of missions. Seeing Schenkopp was pretty cool and it seems as though he's going to play an important role in the story.

I'm eagerly waiting for WolfGang and Reuenthal, though.

Well what do you know? Schenkopp can probably sing his way through the enemy! LOL
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,
Coz he's right here! ...and he's fresh out of mercy.

The old guy is strangely fascinating. He's so typical of a worthless old guy that it's funny, but his talk with Reinhard was different. The things he said felt way less obvious than they were.

Maybe this is the "I, Claudius" fan in me speaking, but I can't shake my suspicions that Grimmelshausen is a lot sharper than he seems.

Nice to see Schenkopp again. Here's hoping for an appearance by Reuenthal & Mittermeyer soon.

Reinhard's comments are so unpolitically-correct. (Or is that 'politically incorrect'? Either way, his sense of humour is wonderful.) I'm loving him more and more.

That must have been a slap to the face . . . Not only do they finally listen to what he was saying when someone else says it (and then requests to take charge of the plan to get credit for it, despite it being stolen in the first place) but to take that one step further and have Reinhard work underneath the person who stole his plan.

A bit of a slower episode but still pretty good, let's see what's next!

Schenkopp! This is going to be fun to watch. His bratty, arrogant grins make everything better.

Reinhard is full of vinegar so far, isn't he? So much vinegar and salt. Kircheis handling the overflow, as usual.

And so incompetency led to Grimmelshausen's fleet invading what the FPA thought was the least significant place a rational person would check.

Reinhard is totally pissed at Grimmelshausen.
