| I think first should be My Conquest is the Sea of Stars. Then you should try the main series. Overture to a New War is a retelling of couple of the first episodes and it's more detailed. Gaiden - A Hundred Billion Stars; A Hundred Billion Lights is a prequel to the original series, focusing on Reinhard and his steps up the chain of command in the Galactic Empire. Spiral Labyrinth is a sequel to the first Gaiden, focusing on Yang Wen-Li. Golden Wings is set somewhere in the first Gaiden. IMO gaidens should be watched last, as some voice actors are not the same (i.e Yang has different voice, as original actor died after main series was finished). In conclusion, IMO LoGH should be watched in this order: - LoGH: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars - LoGH - )after 2~3 episodes) LoGH: Overture to a New War - rest of LoGH - LoGH: Golden Wings (now or after 2 chapters of the first gaiden) - LoGH: A Hundred Billion Stars; A Hundred Billion Lights - LoGH: Spiral Labyrinth |
