My only problem with it was the insane suspension of disbelief that a mentally stable, attractive nurse would fall in love with her student like that, no matter how dire his condition, or how inspirational his outlook. But it was good. I'll say this about the author; from reading a couple of her other works, she's very good at conveying serious emotion without having it come off as cheesy or forced. Not many manga writers can say that about themselves. |
| actually "beauty and the beast" syndrome is not so rare. surely not so exaggerated but still it is common. there was only onе thing that i didn't like (or get). what was that "botanic guy" all about. she dreamt of him being treated? |

| I was going to give this manga a 6 just because it was a decent oneshot. A oneshot rides on the basis that every line of dialogue is an important one. One line made this manga stand out from the typical tragic illness manga out there: "Are you doing this out of pity?" That sealed the deal for me. For a woman to go out of her way and choose a man to have a child with is something amazing. I wish I could read more about their interactions. | It was soft and enjoyed it. The length was good enough for me and the end did not leave me in despair but more on the line of "I'm happy with it" but you can not negate the fact that is afterall a bittersweet end. ;) |
