hmm so this is the end huh. much more laid back than i thought, but i guess its the nature of this one. I would've liked it more if it were more than some short story. oh well, gets a 6.
Ah..! I thought the same thing! I was like, "Eh, that it...?
Dropped my score from a 10/10 to 6/10.
Not because it was bad but because it felt like the was resolved to simplistically...
We get some stories that stretches on, and on, and on.. .and on, and on, and on.
Then you those, that start out great, and then kinda fizzle out. And just like a relationship, that end with amiableness. You wonder, when you can not figure out why it end, nor pin point to many bad part ... You start to wonder why it end like it did....
Just fizzled ---
Eh? Chapter 12 was the end? I expected that there would be more =\
The manga started out great but the 'ending' was a bit disappointig. It will also make me lower my score a bit...
Agree with everyone else. Waaaay to simplistic ending. Did the serialization get cut short, and the mangka had no choice? I was really enjoying this series...
A laid-back end is much better than one that gets overly dramatic for the sake of trying to be more than what it is, IMO.
That's exactly what I like about Yoshizumi, too. I've never read Marmalade Boy, but I find myself getting addicted to her smaller works. She takes such a down-to-earth, realistic approach to dating and romance. In Spicy Pink, I especially liked her heroines. They were very believable, but had their own personalities. Misono with her domineering, but actually good-natured ways, Risa being somewhat overconfident but with no intention of being used, and Sakura herself was very cute-easy to sympathize with, but with common sense, and just a little tsun without being anything like annoying.
Maybe I'll adjust my ratings once I've read more of manga in general, but for now 8/10 for being absolutely wonderful at what it is.

That's pretty much what I thought...seemed like a spur of the moment ending and left too many questions, I even checked to see if there was a sequel. That picture doesn't tell us if they're just hanging out, living together, married, etc ...I don't know about everyone else, but I like to know what happens to the couples in the future. The rest of the story was really good, but it would have gotten a bit higher rating if it had ended better.
The ending was too short however I was actually surprised by something in this manga... I figured the mangaka was modeling the female MC after herself... but she is the author of quite a few popular series as well as 3 that were adapted in to anime (which is quite a feat for a shoujo to be adapted in to an anime) so that came as a surprise. Anyways it was a good piece however a little bit saddened by how rushed the ending was.
There were only 12 chapters so I didn't find the ending too bad. Still, it was predictable. I don't think they did the deed in this series either. Well, they came close but the comedy from that chapter was almost laughable.
I wouldn't want to see this adapted into anime tbh. It wouldn't even be a 1 cour show.
i feel like i just read 12 chapters of nothingness. would've actually preferred to read something Bad
what was the point and conclusion for all of that ??? what about akira? mans a dick why didnt he get any shit??? why didnt sakura tell the sister abt how shit of a person that guy was. what about sakura's friend? is she doing well with her fiance? is she still being an extra over the top i want to live a luxury life person? what about sakura, is she still lacking in confidence? and theres still so so many questions im just so .. Agh with this.
story of a mangaka and a doctor, completely different occupations and i dont know much about them but one thing i Do know is that they dont really get much time for themselves. i thought that sakura would have grown a bit more knowledge about plastic surgeons as how they aren't always just taking advantage of women or whatever. some patients get plastic surgery for health reasons, some maybe got into an accident and needed things to get done, etc. man idk im just so disappointed
