The basic things are:

1) God moding is inevitable. There is no player who wants to see his/her character been completely beaten up and even less murdered. That is ok, as long as you don't create it invensible. Let it get his/her ass kicked some times.

And if someone says that he/she hurt you character accept it and remember no one can give a mortal injury or without consent.

2) Get out of your comfort zone. Try to play with different characters!! If you are a boy, play a girl. If you are shy, play with an agresive type. If you are the cold intelectual, play the muscle brain.

3) Always say yes. That is metaphorical. It means just go with the flow even if you don't understand what is going on. "Keep movin foward" and don't be shy.

4) Don't be a loner. If you are joing a game like this is to interact with other people. You can create a sort of loner character, yes. but somehow he/she should interect with the other characters... "in a bad mood" if you want, but play!!

In other words: Don't run away from the other players!

Side note: I said above players, not characters...

5) Don't play high ranked positions if you can't handle them. Even if the rules allow you to play kings, princes, dukes, generals... Don't play them if you don't know how to use does high position. The best way to began to play is creating characters at the base of the social system since that gives them the fredom to move as they please.

High ranked characters are there just to force events in the game, not to actually play.

6) Time Lag. Basically, remember that not everyone lives at the same time zone, so take it easy and try to play with them even if that means to make just one post per day.

7) NPCs. This is not a videogame, if you need to create improvised characters, do it.

Example: Barman01, Maid09, villager597...

Does kind of characters ar sometimes needed, but don't requiere to be fetched.

8) Disposable Characters. This characters are the ones between the NPCs and your actual characters. You can create this with the mere purpose of killing them in a battle or get beaten up constantly, like the joke-looser sidekick/villains created to make fun.

9) Keep it interesting. The point is to have fun by playing with others. This is not a video game so you will have to use your common sense to understant when enough is enough... somehow this should be a "both sides winning" game.

In other words: Play for the satisfactions of playing, not for the satisfactions of winning.
There are not prize here, out of being part of an interesting story.

10) Be active!
It doesn't matter if you just can play during weekends or even just post one entraces per week, don't stop playing!!! Thats not fun!!!

The cosmopolitan rule

As I said, not all of us live at the same place. so obviously not all of us have a perfect understaing and usage of english.
Then keep this as international as possible...
