| Which version do you watch? I started watching One Piece in the 4Kids Dub, but now that the FUNimation Entertainment Uncut & Unedited Dub is starting to roll out onto DVD, I've decided to stop watching the 4Kids dub and move on to the FUNimation one. |

| Err.. I watch both Sub and FUNi Dub. But.. Dude, Take away the link to get FUNi episodes, illegally. Not after all the work they've gone through with it, and its not like its rip-off prices, either. Anyway - The 4Kids dub is horrible, yeah, but 4Kids are still a winner at creating some of the best dub opening's ever created, even to this day. Lol @ Dinosaur King. I've caught episodes w/o subtitles, for the lulz of it all. Its nothing special. Should only be done when whatever you are watching is extremely visual (ala, nothing JUMP). |

It is still airing in some parts of the world dubbed and from what I have heard they are getting closer to some really good parts of the anime. I actually didn't get into One Piece until like one or 2 months ago, and by then the cancellation had already happened for like a bunch of months. I also didn't get into the manga until like 3-5 months ago, took me long enough xD. On a side note, I'm really sad that Toonami is dead T_T. Thank God Cartoon Network is still planning to air the rest of the episodes of the first Naruto series. I hope that they continue with shippuuden and the movies etc etc. |

Dude, when I say download, I meant I download the file from the internet to my computer and watch them. As for the DVDRip issue, I wasn't the one who encoded or uploaded them, plus if there were TV versions of the FUNimation Uncut & Unedited versions I would gladly download those instead, but unfortunately there aren't. By the way, FUNimation will continue to license & dub One Piece & put it on DVD until it's finished (In America and Japan). Finally, what does "Gb2crforumz" mean? Its not even legal to download an episode of whatever in Japan. So, its obviously illegal to obtain through any means nesscary copyrighted material, without going through proper procedure (owning proper DVDs, etc) AND... Download usually means download onto a computer, and do whatever with them.. To end, by "Gb2crforumz", I meant "Get back to CrunchyRoll Forums" because of the fact that pretty much everyone on there doesn't understand the value of what anime is, and think of it as a disposal piece of junk. The no money thing is no excuse, either, really. Sit back, and take a look around at the crumbling anime industry, and think who's the blame. Maybe your opinion will change, and hopefully it does for the better! ;p |

All you're doing is making a copy, not stealing the original, right? I don't watch anime on Crunchyroll, cuz most of the anime they have is subbed, not dubbed. There used to be a Blockbuster store around my town that only took me 5-10 minutes from my house walking to get there, but it got shut down like 2 years ago T_T. Oh, ok. But I seriously do delete the anime episodes that I download after I watch them on purpose since A) they're taking up unnecessary space and B) cuz I never re-watch anything. Umm, this isn't my first time watching One Piece ya know.....I used to watch the 4Kids version from the very first episode and onward until it got cancelled. |
| 4kids version =/= One Piece. That doesn't count. I started watching subs during that travesty since watching it in English just wasn't an option... and after getting caught up with the weekly Japan releases, waiting for the dub wasn't possible. I've been buying FUNi's DVDs anyway though. So I watch both. |
| Yeah, 4kids did a lot of damage to the series. I also buy the funimation dvds and still download the subs for newer episodes. It's gonna take forever for the dub to get far into the series. |

| Hmm, just watched the funi dubbed and here are my options of ep 1. Gold roger had a weird voice The narriater was a turn off.. Surprisingly the OP that they turned into english was actually good, in my option. Well compared to most. Did I hear "beer". I'm pretty sure that would have been turned to "juice" if 4kids where here. Not something that should be pointed out but atleast not filtered that much.. Coby's voice was a good choice and alvida's voice suited her personality so I thought it was good. No filtering of "ass"... another non-filtered word.. also got hell.. Hmm.. Luffy's voice is alittle screechy but still acceptable. Hmm.. apples... was it like that in the raws or did funi change it to that because I dont remember apples being purple.. ooo that BGM with zoro made him seem like a badass.. nice :) ED was decent. All in all I actually like it and could continue watch it. Although I perfer subs better but its still really good. |

| I am enjoying the dub so far, but I don't have a real preference. I have been watching the sub for a while now and I needed a good reason to watch this show all over again. Need to get the second voyage of season one. |
