The Opera Mini came with the "Smart Page" feature, where you can see the latest news of your favorites sites beyond to follow your twitter/facebook friends. The Main Page (Página Inicial) changed the icon, see the old icon with the Opera Mobile 12.  Opera Mini 7.5  Opera Mobile 12 There is a button named "Teste em Rede" (I dunno its name in english, maybe Connection Test) that tests the internet conection. | As always Opera are leading the way for phone browsers. I really wish Opera would make versions of Mini and Mobile for Windows Phone 7 and higher. I loved using them on my old Nokia, but I got a new phone and did not realise there was no version of Mini/Mobile that would work on it. :( |

| Thanks for the links. The XDA stuff looks interesting, but it needs me to unlock my phone. Considering that I cannot afford to replace it if I mess up somehow, I think I'll just keep hoping for an official Opera release. I really do like my Windows Phone, the missing mini/mobile is my only problem with it. Also, if any other WP users read this, try this app. It allows you to access your Opera Link bookmarks and Speedial using the built-in browser. Its better than nothing I guess. |
