| 1) Sawashiro, Miyuki I just can not pick anyone else as "Best seiyuu of the year" her performance as Inaban in Kokoro COnnect was just so perfect (Especially during the dramatic parts) Goosebumps right there. 2) Kaji, Yuki I just have to go with him in my top 5, even after all the hate, his work in Guilty Crown, Highschool DxD and especially his song in K were all close to perfection. 3) Murata, Tomosa I actually put her on my list just because of the hate. But in my opinion her performance as Yuno in Mirai Nikki is one of the best if not THE BEST performance from any Seiyuu this year. She absolutely stole the show in Mirai Nikki just as her character did. A big thumbs up for her and I hope she gets more roles in the future. 4) Fukuyama, Jun An obvious choice to any top 5. "FukuJun's" performances are so solid year after year that it's hard to not be absolutely amazed at his talent. Yuuta in Chuunibyou stands out as his best role of the year for me. But let's not forget his amazing performance in Ixion Saga DT as the lovely Marian, his incredible skill to play the trap is incredible and sooo funny xD 5) Uchida, Maaya The last spot was a tough one, but I still decided to give the last spot to a young and upcoming star. She crowned the year voicing Rikka from Chuunibyou to perfection. But let's not forget Rea in Sankarea ;) I just have to leave an honorable mention to this one guy... Hongo, Kanata: He just appeared from nowhere (to me) and voiced the Main Character in Btooom to absolute perfection. His performance was the best of the show even though it included such veterans and superstar seiyuus as Sawashiro Miyuki, Nakamura Yuuichi and Hikasa Youko. I am impressed and I hope he gets more roles in the future. Still picking out 5 favorites was very difficult and I had to leave out many personal favorites of mine :( |
