I've got a very long break from One Piece (Vegapunk....) and now I started watching raws from Thriller Barc. I don't know why, but I feel bored watching this ( I saw 5 episodes). Do/Did you feel the same?
Thriller Bark does start off a bit slow, to be honest. And in my opinion, the anime didn't do the greatest job in adapting the Thriller Bark arc from the manga to the anime, but there are still some great moments. You just need to get a bit farther into the arc to get to the better parts of it, because it definitely gets more epic. I'd recommend you reading the manga for it rather than the anime if you find it a bit boring, but I found it enjoyable.
Well first eps weren't too good (and we had CP9 arc before TB, so it doesn't seem to be as cool as we'd want it to be), but I can't say there was no epic eps in the TB arc. IMO there were at least two of them, and the rest was quite good too.

The beginning really bored the hell out of me. I'm not a fan of Zombies and such...
But as soon as the battle against Oz begins, it's incredibly awesome and epic only to be surpassed by the next arc that's about to start in the Anime soon. :D
I didn't like the first episodes too much either.
TBH if it wasn't for Brook and the laughes of Moria, Brook and Hogback I wouldn't have watched it at all(the manga is better though).
Yep , it was quit boring... I got interested only when luffy fought with all souls in him against the shichibukai... and when the second Shichibukai appeared...

Mine as well. I love Gecko Moria for some reason, and couldn't resist the need to mark him as favorite character. The whole arc, though, was epic as far as I'm asked.
