Skipping the Arrancar Arc

This is a rather idiotic question but, if I skip the Arrancar Arc COMPLETELY will I miss very important information if I decide to to read ahead to the Thousand Year Blood War Arc? Will I at least be able to understand the arc's main story points or will I just be in a trainwreck wondering things like who this person is or what happened to this person?

I didn't skip the Arrancar arc but I watched some of the anime and then read from chapter 250 to around chapter 322. I then decided to skip ahead and read chapter 480 onwards. Everything had already been spoiled for me by others so it didn't matter. I decided since I already knew what happens I'd just skip so I could quickly catch up. If nothings been spoiled for you then you may be a little confused but I don't think you'll be completely lost.

If you want to skip just that arc or go straight to the thousand year blood war you could always just have a quick read of the spoilers on the Bleach wikia: http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Bleach_Wiki

Thanks for the information, I dropped Bleach after the Soul Society arc cause I knew the Arrancar Arc dragged on a lot. I just ordered volume 55 onwards. I'll be able to see in a couple of days if the arc is very good or not. If I get confused I'll just look wiki it like what you said.
