I've been learning to animate explosions for the past couple of weeks but I have trouble finding good "learning" material. I just don't know where to look so any anime with a lot of explosions will do.

I've already checked the few shows I had laying around on my computer, Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied and Attack on Titan.

Jormungand -Not only explosions, but THE best explosion (for those the have seen it I'm talking about the scene with Hex in the mountain range.) Give it a try :)

uh I think I saw a lot in Full Metal Panic.... didn't pay that much attention to whether they were well-animated or not though..

there are also some in Black Lagoon, I think.

Yup.
There's also a disturbing lack of Black Lagoon on your list.

Go read One-Punch Man, you might learn a thing or 2 from it.

Some really great responses here. I quickly rushed through Dead Leaves and what a weird show/movie? Nonetheless, it had some great explosion effects! And not only that, Btoom and Jormungand seem like awesome shows to actually watch. Both are seinen at that.

Everything went better than expected!

Thanks! Please keep em coming if you have more...
