Spirit bomb does the trick again but not only from planet Earth but from the whole Universe! Well I somewhere expected this but still quite amazing to actually see it for a last time! Pretty nice end and well Goku you sure did it quite epically! Shen Long appeared after Goku defeated the last dragon so this is quite something well let's see what the last episode of Dragon Ball GT has to offer!
Spirit Bomb never fails to let us down anymore. Would've been nice to see SSJ4 Gogeta end this but oh well.
Now that Omega Shenron has been defeated, we see Shenron appear without being summoned from the dragon balls. Maybe he's here to say thank you? "I haven't felt this great in over 20 years! All that negative energy would always leave me unsettled when I go back in the dragon balls, so thank you!" or something...?

Damn that was very nice using a spirit bomb and seeing every planet they visit raising their hands. Finally Omega Shenron is dead.
Also, did anyone notice the mistake toei made:
This show was something def my least favorite in the DB franchise but not the worst thing ever. The bad arcs are extra painful but the good arcs get decent. My favorite by a good amount was the Super 17 Arc seeing all call backs was fun especially Nappa and Vegeta even though Nappa only grunts for some reason lmao. Overall Ok
Black Star Dragon Ball arc - 3/10
Baby Arc - 6/10
Super 17 - 7/10
Shadow Dragons - 5.5/10 (Mostly because the early shadow dragons suck imo)
So the answer to defeating Omega Shenron was a spirit bomb, and not the usual kind this time, instead it used the energy of the entire universe which is a great callback to the humble beginnings of GT, seeing some of those characters again took me back to September last year when I started this mostly-rewatch. And I’m glad we also got to see Omega doing some serious damage to the world with people reacting to it, I think that’s one of the things that was missing from this Omega fight to make it really feel like a world ending scenario, so we did at least get that near the end, the visuals during that part were very cool too.
And although it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense that Goku survived an attack like that in kid form, since the spirit bomb part was so good I’ll allow it lol, especially after the fight Vegeta tried to put up so Goku could form the bomb. And finally, finally, Omega is defeated, I’ll say it was a satisfying enough death, Rage Shenron’s jelly ain’t saving him this time lol. And now the actual Shenron has appeared on his own without being summoned, I’m looking forward to seeing why on the final episode.
And so my final episode post isn’t too massive I’ll go ahead and try to quickly sum up my thoughts on the Shadow Dragons arc as a whole. While it’s definitely not the best of GT imo, I did really enjoy it, and despite what others have said I did enjoy some of the earlier parts of it along with the later parts, there were some moments where the journey could have ended easily, and maybe the earlier ones were like monsters of the week but I found their powers to be very interesting overall. And of course my favorite of the shadow dragons was Nova, not just for his character but his fight as well. I also think this arc of GT did show the budget lacking more often than the previous arcs but the content was fun for sure, I’m glad I actually watched it this time instead of stopping randomly before lol. I think I’ll save my ranking of each arc on the final episode post, it seems more fitting that way.
This episode was kind of meh. It had nonsensical scenes that didn't fit the characters.
But otherwise it was good, Goku finally understood what I was thinking, seeing everyone raise their hands was sensational.
