And then there was one. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Moses died, given that he had turned on Kai and the others. And Karman’s been a goner ever since he developed the Thorn. Which leaves just Lulu now. I wonder what the odds that she lives to see the end of this series. Being the last one left, and child at that, I think her chances have actually improved. Well, improved is a relative word. I’m not going to hold my breath for anyone surviving who’s not a human.
Nathan was right about the small difference between art and madness, in reference to James. The Chevalier who’s fallen out of favor with Diva really looked like he lost it, especially in this rather creepy shot. I guess in a sense his plan succeeded in killing off one more Shifu than was originally going to die at this point since Moses ended up going together with Karman. Still, I personally think that him dying with his friend like that is a bit of a waste, but what’s done is done.
aww.. :(( i really liked Moses and Karman as well.. seriously they should stop killing everyone off!! Lulu live on!!!!
ugh.. please no more focuses of james face.. its creepy xD
I think that was the most pointless character death I have ever seen in an anime. I think it totally went against character for Moses too-- he was the one insisting on keeping hope and staying alive and together and then in the end he's like "Well, Karman, love you man, let's burn up in crazy green flames together and get our characters out of the way as easily as possible" I really didn't like what they did to him this episode--it felt like such a waste... Moses, Karman, and Lulu might've been able to do some real damage to Team Diva, but I don't have as much confidence in Lulu alone, though I'm pretty sure she'll last till the end.
And James is definitely on the verge of snapping thoroughly and doing something even more extreme--if he hasn't snapped already. I'd be a little sad for him, the Chevalier out of Diva's favor involuntarily due to his "impure" body, but it's James we're talking about xD
Remember when the Sif were just blood-sucking enemies? I have to admire how this show turned them into tragic heroes. Only five episodes left...it's time to start pruning the cast list....
Please don't feed the trolls!
In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student
carrying a piece of toast in her mouth...rodac
Die already James! Your disgusting face really ticks me off. It's a good thing Diva hates you now.
Moses dying with Karman felt like the most useless death in this series so far. He hadn't even caught the thorn yet! It was really out of character if you ask me. Although I guess now that Lulu is the last Schiff, she might have a chance of survival, but I'm not holding my breath.
Nathan's comment about the subtle difference between art and madness was the best scene this episode. James is probably just on the borderline of going crazy like Karl.
Gotta admit i felt a little bad for James there knowing the thing he lived for his whole life hates him now. Although I do want to see him killed off now he is just so annoying.
Yea Moses death was pretty stupid should have stayed and helped against Diva.
Nathan is as interesting as ever and his comment about the difference between art and madness was nice lol.
Epic, so a high level of sadness and melancholy, it is so hard to describe. Plot that marks another point in its favor, after this long ride, I'm so sad that it came almost the end! T_T
Good design and animation. James is the best bastard seen so far, has to suffer like a dog before he died.
That final touching! T_T
If Moses actually meant any of the various things he said over the course of this series, he would have stayed back to help fight Diva. Even if it has been revealed through James that the blood of Diva can not save them, he should have stayed to protect his remaining friends and keep hope in the possible alternative solution involving the D nucleotide that Kai & Co. talked about.
Instead, he decides to kill himself with Karman. That seems out of character for Moses.
I wonder why people don't understand that Moses had Thorns too. It was pretty obvious in his scenes with Kai, all these lines like "It's not fair that only two of us know" or "Julia told me that there is a chance to cure thorns with Diva's blood(at that moment not even Moses knew that Karman had thorns, let alone Kai, so they were talking about Moses)"
Loved this episode. But damn, Kai stole Saya's spot as series protagonist.
"I won't let them make anyone cry anymore." That's the badass line for the protagonist. He's the one who has grown and developed.
@FrozenRaider Agreed xD i can't find any other reason as to why he suddenly decides to kill himself along with dying cartman =/ even when moses said "cartman didn't find someone yet to show his real personality to" xD Anyway, nice story and well portraited with that flower growing in the light side and with they staying on the dark side 💖
Not a bad episode, but Moses killing himself felt sooo abrupt and unnecessary. What the hell. I was so shocked I burst out laughing.
We still got Lulu at least. She has been adorable these past couple eps. Knowing this show, I'm not feeling particularly optimistic about her fate, though...
So many mixed feelings with this episode. It was very emotional and Karman/Moses death scene was very sad, but Moses killing himself when he was still healthy and thorn-free really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. He should had keep living for the sake of Karman and the other dead Schiff and continue fighting alongside Saya, leaving Lulu alone like that was an asshole move.
