DVD episode 14 - "Dream Colored Message"
An episode entirely dedicated to Yurie being INCREDIBLY LAZY. Highlights include Yurie kamichu-ing her TV to change channels and the poverty god making 49,000 yen disappear.
Ideal anime wife?
"I'd like to think that the ideal partner is someone with strength and individualism, who can take care of herself when left alone, yet fills the room with laughter when in the company of friends. A girl who is sympathetic to a guy's interests and hobbies, but won't be a doormat for just anyone and freely expresses her opinions on any subject. Someone who's open to a wide range of pursuits and often succeeds at them, yet also has a cool, laid-back perspective on life.
The ideal anime wife, of course, is Konata Izumi."
She spent the whole episode under the kotatsu.
Still it was a good episode.
Really looking forward to the next episode.
It is by far the highest rated episode of Kamichu and has the most comments.
It must be good.
It was good to get to know that even gods sometimes have their lazy life days))) She was moving only under the kotatsu zone-very creative way of moving and saving energy) Bin-chan killed the money- hilarious
That was the laziest episode ever made. This show is always so comfy >.<
For anyone wondering, the New Year Card Kenji sent said "congratulations" (he wrote お目でとう, "目" in this case being the eye; you don't usually write it with this kanji so I'm guessing it's a pun)
got to see a new side of Yurie in this one. Not exactly flattering but definitely relatable. Actually this ep did a great job of fleshing out the entire Hitotsubashi family. Gotta love how her dad is so quintessentially dad-like and the airheadedness of mom. The two make a super cute couple. That's not something you see in most "CGDCT" anime, where parents are basically non-existent. Yet another way Kamichu sets itself apart from the crowd.
