I have a system of scores that is developed using my own view on different anime's i watch and watched.
Everything is written and explained.

Pearl – An anime that is exceptionally written and drawn, the story pulls you in, opening is captivating and the anime ends with a full closure or an open ending. Characters evolve and develop. Story line is complete without any information left unknown to the viewer. A Pearl anime is usually an anime that gets a 10+ score and would interest people who usually wouldn't watch anime.
Gold – An anime that the story is well written, animation is innovative, story pulls you in and Characters evolve. Opening is captivating and ending is with full closure or open ending. Story line is complete without holes and gaps in information given to the viewer. A Gold anime is a 10 score. some might also spike an interest in people who usually do not watch anime.
Silver – An anime that is well written, animation is very good, story line is interesting and characters are built well. Story line is full, ending of anime is full closure or open ending. No gaps in information given to the viewer. A Silver anime is a 9 score anime.
Platinum – An anime that has a good story line, animation is good and characters are well built evolving and developing, full story without gaps to the viewer and a good ending full closure or an open ending. A Platinum anime is a 8 score anime.
Bronze – An anime that is well written and drawn, characters evolving and developing are a little slow, slow story line that gets your full attention close to the ending. Minor gaps of information given to the viewer. Overall good ending, full closure or open ending. A bronze anime is a 7 score anime.
Nickel – An anime that has some gaps in the story line, you get thrown into a story that is never fully explained and gives the information you expect. Characters are not developing and the story is not receiving full attention, animation is usually good but lacks a certain charm, usually is textbook to the genre. Opening and ending is also text book. A Nickel anime is a 6 score anime.
Copper – an anime that is ironclad text book. Animation, story and characters, story has a fine line between uninteresting and interesting. Animation is ordinary and in some even close to poor animation. Could have many unforgivable gaps in information given to viewers, ending usually left wide open and if the story is interesting it leaves a ton of questions unanswered. A copper anime is a 5 score anime.
