I have been watching anime for a long time, which is why it took me so long to go through all the ones I had watched, but finally did it and made an account on here!
I love this media format, people ask me why, generally with a face of mixed disapproval and judgement. I normally respond with "It's the genuineness of the characters that makes it for me primarily" - what I mean by this is that unlike normal western live acting media, which can have actors pop up in other films playing different characters, that doesn't happen in anime, like a good book character (manga as well) they are only that character without a physical body attached to it.
Slight tangent there, but hey I have to fill the box. Outside of my binging on anime, I enjoy cooking (Lots of japanese dishes), rock climbing/bouldering, arts and crafts, 3D modelling (CGI) and walking my dacshunds in the fields nearby.
