 Konnichiwa minna-san!My name is HaremKing_Arend, or Arend for short. I live in a beautiful country called the Netherlands. For the people who don't know the Netherlands, we are the country with the windmills, cheese and the "good" women. I am an Indo, that is half Dutch and half Indonesian (Half Asian :D) On this page you, my dear visitor, can see how my anime adventure started and YOU can, also see what kind of person I am.
Feel free to add me or send me a message if you have any questions.  There was a channel called Jetix (formerly Disney XD) and they were showing animes like Shaman King. I really loved those animations but I never knew what kind of cartoons they were, so I called them fricking awesome cartoons with cool backgrounds. When I was 14 years old a friend of mine showed me a video of Smosh called "Real Death Note". After I watched the video I looked up what "Death Note" was, I found out that it was an popular anime so I gave it shot. After watching that anime it gave me a good impression what an anime was like, but I decided not to continue watching anime. But then, something terrible happened! My parents and my little sister were always arguing with each other. Result? I got kicked out of the house for "safety reasons". I became really scared for the outside world and because of that in my next year of high school I got an depression. I skipped a lot of school, had a real negative attitude and I didnt even try to talk to persons. Lucky for me is that it didnt influence my school grades (Doing nothing and still getting great marks is awesome!!) That was when I started to watch anime. Anime really made my day, I loved School Rumble and Tokyo Mew Mew during that time, because there was a lot of comedy and at that moment I could really used a laugh. But how about now uncle Arend? Well, everything is solved. I am not scared for the outside world anymore, have a lot of friends and am talking a lot. (Some guys even says that I talk more then an "average" girl. Something to be proud of right?) Also, I love to watch anime in my spare time. |
