I got into anime/manga about 6th grade/12yo... I found the fruits basket DVDs at my library. That was my first. I collected the books for a while too. I started with mostly shoujo stuff, but with Loveless I got more into shounen-ai/yaoi. I still read shoujo, but I do prefer ones with more boyish/tomboy girls, or really stubborn ones :P
I've been going to NDK in colorado or 8 years now, and I've gone to wasabi con... 3 times?
I haven't really cosplayed because I'm not motivated enough to. I've tried though.
I love Misteor's fanart of Belphgor, but have never really gotten into the anime .-. I tried. Watched the first episode, too much yelling.
