The result of the discussion was keep. At the moment, I'm not seing a consensus to convert this WikiProject into a task force, but this close is not meant to stifle the ongoing discussion on the matter, which I leave to editorial discretion. Salvio Let's talk about it! 14:24, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
This project has been almost completely inactive, with only 40 members and 17 articles and pages within the scope. Had attempts to make a task force of WP:VG in July 2010, but it did not happened. JJ98 (Talk) 07:26, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

- What are the guidelines on when a project is "inactive"? I don't want to WP:BITE them when they may very well come back tomorrow and start turning Age of Empires Online into a featured article. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 20:27, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Since this WikiProject is over four years old I don't think that WP:BITE applies.--76.69.169.220 (talk) 22:16, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Redirect to WP:VG or taskforce if VG want it. --Kleinzach 04:32, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Keep 40 members is actually quite a lot, and we don't generally delete Wikiprojects just because they are inactive. No objection to making it a task force. Hut 8.5 22:03, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Keep sufficiently large number of members, and sufficiently high possibility of becoming active. DGG ( talk ) 23:13, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Comment Video games collaborations have gradually been restructured (see More proposed moves of insular mini-projects into task forces). There are now 30 taskforces in WP:VG. Narrow by definition, go-it-alone individual games projects are demonstrably unviable. (Membership lists only reflect ephemeral fandom enthusiasm, not commitment.) --Kleinzach 01:10, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- None of that is a reason to delete the page. MfD isn't the proper forum for deciding if something should become a task force, it's a forum for deciding whether something should be deleted. Hut 8.5 22:10, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- Not so. We consider a range of options here. There are many precedents. Just see other Mfds on this page to see this in operation. --Kleinzach 23:21, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- I will have to agree with Hut 8.5 this whole process is odd. We have editors that have never participated in the projects making major changes. This notice board is for deletion not a way to make things different.Moxy (talk) 00:04, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
