Welcome to bear witness the recreation of sound as we know it.
Nanatsu-iro REALiZE by IDOLiSH7 is a lullaby for the soul. It's the hymn of the very existence. Does the falling tree make a sound if no one is there to listen? The same thing applies here. Is this really a terrible song, or can you just not hear its greatness because you are not really "there"?
In the past, there has been many memes of intelligence and IQ requirements to comprehend a show. I asked my friend Patrick what's absolute minimum to understand Nanatsu-iro and he said "like 10". So if you do not
...
have that, please, understand that you may not like this song very much.
Note, that in case you do not like this, and your IQ is on the better side of 10, you might have:
a) ear cancer
b) audio equipment so low-tier it causes ear cancer
Frankly, listening to this song on "youtube" is like watching 'Ergo Proxy' without brains. Personally, I listened to this with Beyerdynamic a20 headphone amp while using hd600 headphones, (obviously) lossless FLAC audio and played from music player you have not even heard about! This way, I approximately understood 10% of its greatness.
Deaf? Unable to experience sounds beyond bass? Fear not! Just like all the good things ever, Nanatsu-iro is not a masterpiece just for one thing.
When I saw those bishonen princes --who have different colored hairs-- dance in front of a CGI waterfall, I had no choice but to tear a page from my 'Kimi no Na Wa' concept art book and wipe away the tears of my former bad taste. The characters are awe-inspiring. When I saw all the other guys buy themselves skateboards so that one and only guy who loved skateboards wouldn't feel lonely, I understood what brotherhood really means, and also understood what type of a person I want to be. Watch and listen to this and you might also REALiZE.
