Wait a minute, this isn't Basketball! And those aren't even standard issue Basketball uniforms! I've been tricked!

A group of alien girls from planet Blade Star come to earth after their home planet got destroyed. They all have powerful Super-Lake Crystals that allow them to transform into superheroines. led by Blade Knight, they must fight Oleana, an evil space dominatrix, their toughest enemy.

The first 90 seconds really rushes straight through the basic plot description before it just jumps right into the action. After being incredibly confused, I decided, for some bizarre reason, to do some incredibly basic research on the internet on this hentai, and I ... found out that this is based on a Visual Novel series for the PC-98. I have no idea if this OVA is based on a specific scenario from one of these games or was made as an extra bonus for fans, but considering that I don't speak Japanese, and I'm not willing to learn how to speak Japanese for a random old hentai that nobody has heard off, it's going to remain a mystery for me forever.

While the English dub is standard hilariously dumb for a hentai, the script is where Battle Team Lakers EX truly shines. It immediately dives into hilariously awful writing, and probably the best worst quotes that I've ever heard in a dub, "That is why retards should not be allowed to mess with any mechanical equipment." And the best thing is, this whole anime is filled with lines like this.

In this short ~28 minute OVA, it gives us quotes such as "You space slut", "I can't believe I made love to a fucking robot.", and "Take this you fuckos" This dialogue is so amazingly trash that I couldn't help but laugh at just how shit it was. 90's hentai writers really didn't give a fuck, did they.

Oh, and I guess there was some sex in there somewhere, but who is going to give a fuck about entirely forgettable sex scenes when you get to sit through a dub like this. With the legendary infamously bad dubs of such hentai as "Sextra Credit", "Bible Black", and "Temptation", I have no idea how this hasn't made the rounds.

Would I recommend Battle Team Lakers EX? Definitely not as a hentai, but if you want some prime awful 90's dubbing, then this comes highly recommended.

- Brief and slightly predictable but maintains some old-school charm.
- Would not call the story enthralling.
- The comedy that's in the show is at least amusing.
- Not good fap material; few sex scenes in poor quality.

Rewatch Value: 3; Almost zero redeeming qualities and it will probably be a waste of time to rewatch it.
