Synopsis

Having resolved the crisis in the Petrification Kingdom, Senkuu and his companions gear up to deal directly with the mastermind behind the petrification phenomenon—who supposedly resides on the moon. The ambitious spaceship project, however, requires immense manpower and critical resources scattered across the world. Thus, the Kingdom of Science exploration team kick-starts its transcontinental journey on the ship Perseus to gather them all.

Equipped with modern technology and bolstered by the new, capable members in their ranks, the exploration team feels confident about setting sail to their first destination: America. They soon realize that the region now hosts adversaries controlling the resources they need, doing so with scientific technology which rivals and even exceeds their own. In a battle of science versus science, Senkuu and his team must outsmart their rivals if they are to have any chance of ensuring the continued survival and rejuvenation of humanity.

Bless my brain, the day it decided to forget we read the Dr. Stone manga.

Dr. Stone seasons are always characterized by some kind of race against time, which unleashes all the adrenaline possible. This season's race has been the most exciting yet, because the scientific kingdom finally found a worthy rival. Senkuu and company's strongest weapon has always been science, but what would happen if the rival has the same or greater scientific power than our protagonists? This is precisely the scenario in which this first part of the final season places us.

There's little to say about the scientific kingdom; it's full of charismatic characters ...

Recently watched this on Animyne and I'm completely blown away by this anime. This latest installment in the Dr. Stone saga absolutely deserves its 9/10 rating, continuing the series' tradition of blending fascinating scientific concepts with genuine heart and humor. What truly elevates this season is how it manages to raise the stakes without sacrificing the character dynamics that made the series so endearing. The emotional growth of Chrome and Gen particularly stands out, as they've become more than just followers of Senku's vision - they're now innovative thinkers in their own right.
The introduction of the new faction with their own scientific methodology creates fascinating ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (9/12 eps)
It's painful to write this as "mixed feelings", but this season of Doctor Stone doesn't live up to the overall quality of the series so far. The main issues here are:

1. Too many filler scenes. For example, the whole first episode of this season is a filler - you wouldn't miss it at all if you were to skip and start from episode 2 onwards. If you pay attention later on, you will notice that a few episodes have only 1 or 2 meaningful events for the plot. Sadly, it feels that they are wasting screentime in order to prolong the story.
2. They are repeating ...
