Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta.

There is only one person that high school student Saito Houjou truly cannot stand—and that is his temperamental classmate, Akane Sakuramori. The two have always been on bad terms; their contrasting views and personalities only lead to endless fighting. However, everything changes when Saito's grandfather and Akane's grandmother arrange a sudden meeting and insist that the two get married!

Walking down the aisle is the last thing Saito and Akane want, but they are quickly coerced into accepting the ridiculous plan and soon move into a shared house as husband and wife. Although Saito and Akane despise each other, navigating life together under the same roof may just turn their bitter hatred into everlasting love.

recently watched "Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta" (I'm Getting Married to the Girl I Hated in Class), on Animyne, and I finished it with decidedly mixed feelings about the experience.
This romance anime centers on Mizuhara Takuya and Shiina Akane, former high school classmates who couldn't stand each other, only to reunite years later through an arranged marriage meeting set up by their parents. What begins as reluctant obligation gradually transforms as they discover the people they've become as adults.
The premise itself offers plenty of potential. The enemies-to-lovers trope gets a mature spin by exploring how childhood perceptions and ... misunderstandings can linger into adulthood. When the show focuses on these elements, particularly in how the protagonists confront their past prejudices, it delivers some genuinely touching moments.
The character designs are appealing and distinctive, with subtle animation touches that effectively convey the characters' emotional states. The color palette shifts beautifully between the cooler tones of their contentious past and the warmer hues of their developing relationship.

Mixed Feelings

Best part of the show is honestly Himari and Shisei. The main Female MC Akane can be very unbearable most times. It took her 12 episodes to realize her feelings, so all the way to the very end to say she likes Saito. The animations were pretty solid for what they were and I kinda liked the chibi screenplays in between cuts of all the characters interactions. Akane's tsundere moments were way too tssssuuunnnnnn to keep up with, I almost felt bad for the seiyuu having to keep up the act for a long time. I give her props for sticking with that emotion all ... the way to end, jeez even I can feel how draining it was to voice that written character. The hate is too strong in this one.

It seems that I've been late in giving a review after scoring, but that doesn't stop me now.

The picture is balanced where color and brightness are concerned in this anime, at least to be enjoyed as a meal companion. An interesting premise, plus some characters, makes it an anime that can be quite popularly discussed at the time of airing in its season.

What makes me give it a low score?

It may be quite funny, but after you watch it all the way through, this anime has no clear explanation or narrative direction. Maybe we should look at the synopsis. But not everyone wants to ... read it, as a result, the early episodes of the anime show the goal but there is no context of where you want to go. And the peak is at the end of the episode. We wonder whether this anime will continue or not, there is no narrator or inner voice that explains to make us as viewers confused. Is this anime going to continue or not? And when the episode is over I really feel very annoyed!

Then, the thing I don't like here is, the artstyle change to chibby mode is really annoying. Yes, I know that this anime brings comedic things, but breaking the feud and suddenly something silly happens, I can't accept if the artstyle is also changed.

Fan service is nothing interesting.

Hopefully the licensors and producers will not look at stories like this again to be adapted in the future.
