Not a complete anime....upsetting.

It is actually in the upper 7 for score but since it does not have a decimal scheme I have rated it 7. Not your typical robot + Girl anime. I believe it is the first of its kind in this genre as the robot/humanoid is a guy *Holy bell rings* (Sorry was getting rather sick of cutsy/sexy humanoid girl + guy combo). Beware as it is not everyone's cup of tea so give it at least 5 episode. Once you get into it, it leeches onto you; literally and sucks you dry...making me wonder, the makers of this anime must have been smoking something. This anime redefines emotional roller-coaster as it can shoot you up to heaven in one second and drop you like dead weight to hell in the next. Oh it was outrageous in a good way. Take a look you will not regret it

So far I have not come across an anime of this gothic style. It is so grim and unique, with a twisted love part that it is fascinating to watch.

Really liked it except for the fact that it was cut short. Also its not completely true to the manga, which has a more darker tone. Nonetheless, its a good anime.

Back in the days when it was on animax....found the guys soooo cute *gush*. But no that was not the only reason. The storyline was mature and full of romance as what is expected of Watase Yuu's anime/manga

GONZO is a pure genius! At first the art style put me off, but after awhile you start seeing the beauty of it. I think I was hypnotized to watch this with all the kaleidoscopic effect.
Got me so piqued with the story that I actually watched the "The Count of Monte Cristo" movie and read about it.

Wished I was her, was my first impression. Loved her character. She was so straight-forward yet caring and say all the right things. There should be more of those sort of rich people then maybe the world would be a better place.

Got to love the tension felt in the atmosphere while racing. Moreover the details of the technical maneuvers is brilliant!!

The only reason this anime gets a 10 although it is not really complete is because it was one of the few anime I was actually willing to wait for the episodes to come out every week. I was that hooked.LOL. Normally I watch anime series that are complete as I get rather impatient once I get into a story. Nonetheless I am pleased that they are making Inuyasha:Final act. At last I can be put out of my misery. hehe

Just cackled myself almost to my grave. It was hilarious. Though *grumpy* not complete. It was ecchi to a tolerable level but the humor won me over. A must see for a weekend of laughter.

Loved it!!! Good heavens it has been a long time since I have watched an anime without squealing girls longing for a shining knight in armor. Sorry, it is not that I object to it, but after awhile it gets annoying for it is not like we women are that weak. Anyways liked how the central focus was a women who had self control and intelligence to match it. A must watch!!!

Story, character and most of all graphics....what more can I say. Love GONZO!!!

CLAMP!!! Beautiful artwork, reflects on the anime as well.
Ever since I read the X manga, I have always been a fan of their art. Its so detailed yet so profound and never fails to impress. Must be the fact that there are four manga authors that make up the CLAMP. This anime is enjoyable for both sexes and covers several genres from magical girls to magical beings and mecha as well as the second season focussing on romance.

The kiss scene (well...kinda) was a slight eye opener.
If conan was not the shrunken version of shinichi, you could consider it being pedophilic.

Loved the play with lights in the script. The music when the memories egg was displayed for what it actually was, gave me a tingling feeling which gave this movie 1 point higher than the rest.

Another puuurfect! If you acquired the taste for the artwork of Gankutsuou you will surely like this anime. Although the story is different and nothing alike the art is exquisite. It is has a dreamy effect but still suspenseful. Enjoy!

Sigh...will sound like a million other people who have watched this series.

A bit slow for my taste but makes you want to tag along for the journey. On a nice breezy but slightly cloudy day, is the day you should watch it.

Great music by Kajiura Yuki to accompany the theme of this anime.

Brilliant!! Interesting aspect on war and humanities need for them. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to come across an anime like this.

Really enjoyed the effects and the unusual "ayakashi" but somehow the latter half of the story felt rushed.
(Slight spoiler) Wished for the heroine and the secondary male's romance to develop.
Somehow the heroine spoiled the end for me....and a bit from the main character.

Ooooh! This is twisted. It keeps you on your toes. It is quite a pace with such an atmosphere that it literally kept my heart racing. Its so enigmatic and ugh!!! Its not complete!!!
What's more, the bloody author of the manga admits that this book is going to take awhile because he details the psychological effects to such an extent that one move takes up half of the manga!! Insane man!
Sigh, well moving on, the story is about mahjong. But don't take this anime lightly as it delves into the darkest most crudest part of human mind. Must watch!!

Enjoyed it except for the heroine. Was gritting my teeth whenever she spoke.
Too much of a miss goody two shoes preacher but able to do nothing. Worst kind of damsel in distress. But managed through thanks to the other characters.

aaahhh...my first introduction to GONZO animation. I thought I wouldn't like it as much because of the ecchi parts but after a couple of episode I was glooed. The animation effects helped greatly as well as the storyline as it progressed. After this anime, my obsession with GONZO animation started. So far I am not let down.

Incomplete is my only complaint.
But *sigh* can't be helped, the manga is not complete and Peach-Pit was busy with Rozen maiden and Shugo chara.

Looooooooong!!

Slightly lower than 5 (rounded up). I just could not stand the main character in this. The combination of the seiyu (Naoki Yanagi) and the script lines just made me cringe! Since I recently watched Gundam Wing, which was far more mature/ stronger character I am biased. Incidentally 2/3 (One seiyu doing 2 roles) main cast from G.R are Heero Yuy and Zechs Merquise from Gundam Wing. The supporting characters and animation were really good in G.R but *sigh* the main...I am sorry whenever he (Yuuki Manabu) spoke I had to pause recollect myself and go on.
But alas 7 episode is all I could take. I suppose it is just personal taste. This time Naoki Yanagi (seiyu) and the script lines was not my cup of tea.

If first season was intolerable, I doubt second season is any better. And looking at the synopsis, I would miss out quite a bit by skipping season 1, so Down it goes to the drop box.
