Unfortunately missed Ep. 11+19

Overall season 2 is as good as the first one, but I absolutely dislike the relationship between Tadano and Retsuko. He constantly tries to impose his will on her and his opinion on how to change the society by AI isn't critically reflected enough.

Somehow really disappointing for me. I can't really tell, but in the end I was no more rooting for Retsuko und Haida. The Idol-Arc doesn't synch with me either, I don't think that it is properly fleshed out and is somewhat rushed. Is Inui a necessary character? Why does Tadano keep showing up?

Ep. 23: Yousuke -; Ep. 24+25,28: Yousuke +; I really don't like Yuri and her relationship to Kiiro/ Limone; some episodes are veeery strange; Wow, Ep. 30 is somewhat sad; poor Jama-P! ^^"; Salvia = Queen, she really gives this show a boost (but was it necessary to name her Scarlett O'Hara...); overall a satisfying finale, Momoko & Yosuke are a really cute couple!

The episode "Play it again" "rescued" this title from being rated as just a 3, because the other episode's are just plain, pointless and discomforting, especially the visualized "romantic relationships".

Missed episode 38 (17 & 18 aren't included in the ger dub as well). Yushima is an absolute waste of time at the end, he tends to nearly ruin the last episodes for me. Midori = best girl in the series, her friendship with Kozue is very likeable.

I don't like the oversexualized presentation of a few female characters, mainly Okoi. But in my opinion it's neveretheless a good show, the OST, art style, animation and story in general are well done. A far more appealing story for me than your typical "Romeo & Juliet". Oboro is a very admirable character and her relationship with Gennosuke is truly bittersweet.

+ = Ep. 5, 13, 14, 22(!), 28, 29; every episode after 34 (!!)- = Ep. 10, 11 (= meh), 16 (a bit problematic), 19, 21; Aside from Ep. 5 and the finale in Ep. 13 is the first Arc with Ann & Ail my least favorite one of the whole Sailor Moon 90's Anime. Mixed feelings about the Black Moon-Arc, the filler episodes are often annoying; but the finale is quite tempting and well written as always in SM.

Too fast paced and way too dramatic for a movie which is only 60 minutes long; could have been a great opportunity to dive deeper into Mamoru's backstory as a child, but was wasted for a boring side-character/side-anatgonist looking like Ail from the second season (= this time Manga source material?), idk. Props for little goody two shoes Chibiusa in this movie though!

The balance between pacing and dramatic story elements is way better in the second than the first movie. Story, visuals and soundtrack form a emotionally touching and aesthetically pleasant composition. I like a lot that the main plot leans heavily on Luna which is a nice alternation. A heart for Artemis!

I would actually rate it as 5.5, because I like it more than the 3rd season and the OVA in general.

Visuals, animations and OST are still great (same as in the TV series), but disappointing storywise considering my expectations and experiences with the old CCS (wasted potential). Sadly too few scenes between Shaolan and Sakura.

Literally same impressions as on the first movie, all in all very average, especially plot- and character-wise. More scenes between Shaolan and Sakura are included, though not really presented interestingly or just cheesy.

I would actually score it as 6.5; it can't fully compete with the original manga (especially in adapting the complete storyline). Visuals and animations are well done. The OST varies between strange elevator music and remarkable tracks.

Please don't ever make promises of marriage when you are just going to kindergarten, particularly if a strange fish lady, who never cares for her children, asks you for one.

An exceptional pleading for friendship and religious understanding with an interesting approach of an universal conveyance. Very complex puzzle of symbolism and memorable music.

Not every anime made by Madhouse in the past is a masterpiece. A lot of wasted potential, mostly because it isn't as true to the original as it should have been. The OST and animations are still good though.

Cute story about the passion for sports and growing up, especially in depicting the bittersweet feelings of the first love. The rhythmic gymnastic is portrayed aesthetically pleasant and I like how individually Hikari and Hazuki are showing their different styles of it. OST and artstyle fit the anime's atmosphere very well.

I really did try to like this one, but except for the story's premise, there are flaws like: the unnecessary romance square, most characters stay dreary or are just unappealing to me, pacing isn't well done... The music isn't my cup of tea either.

The climax of Gainax' anime production: Very low budget, as well as the annoying pacing, particularly between comedy and drama elements, which just shouldn't be mixed up with each other. Did they really had the guts to repeat constantly the same stuff?!

Have to rewatch

The most realistic, innocent and tragic incestuous brother-sister relationship I've ever seen in an anime. Highly aesthetically pleasant visuals and OST.
