I think the protagonist had a shield and they mentioned Denmark at some point. My inner nationalist had to give this at least a 6.

Watched this for a MAL challenge and then forgot it existed.

I was surprised by the first death, and then again by the second. However, I then came to the realization that perhaps the fact that they were giving me back story on this previously background character in the episode where they had to fight with the main character - may or may not, be an indication of the fact that they were going to die :/

This just felt like an anime. Like close your eyes and imagine a generic anime. That's this show.

I watched a bit of this in my "I can watch every show this season" phase. Then I played the game, which was really fun for some reason, and then rewatched this game when I played Uncharted 1 Remastered. Quickly came to realize that it wasn't as fun as the game

More of the boring show from the POV of his sister, but he didn't try and fuck his sister and that's more than I can say of most animes

Yeah, the ending was kinda wack and Yuki's was kind of a bitch, but it was fun as hell to watch. It's the good kind of overpowered main character, where they're obviously strong, but not *strong enough* or able to control their strength that well. It could be a bit generic, but hey; for what it is - a shounen action show from 2011 - it's pretty damn fun.

I watched this movie a while after I finished the show, as I didn't even realize there as a movie. Boy was this a surprise. I expected some Seven Deadly Sins move type, where the story wasn't all that engaging but still fun to watch, but the themes and relationships between the lil evil demon thing and Rin was really great. Best thing from Blue Exorcist I've seen so far!

I feel like this should've been better than the first season, but with the weird gaps in time and not remembering what had happened last time in the show - and what was, and what wasn't canon from the season 1 finale - it all kinda crumbled. I think it would've been more enjoyable to read the manga all the way through instead. It was still a fun watch!

It was very visually interesting and the conversations were pretty interesting, however, I felt like I missed a lot of the plot. I don't know if I was distracted by the fucky animation but the story beats felt very off to me sometimes. However, I do think this is a very good show

First half was pretty fucking boring, but the latter half was pretty good. The fake out death was pretty wack, as I was really interested in the repercussions, but the motherfuckers just bring them back to life 10 seconds after they die. The resurrection OST was pretty dope though

My God this was fun. Aside from Tamaki being unbearable this show was so much fun. Sound design is superb, fights are great, and my god did the story pick up. My favourite thing is probably the quick pace of it all. The story moves quickly and we're not stuck fighting the same guy for 20 episodes. The pacing of Fire Force kept being a refreshing breath of air, and David Productions were really experimental/creative with a lot of scenes (like that fucking Joker scene). This was just hella fun to watch.

my god this shit was cringe as fuck. the dialogue is ass, and when the dialogue is 95% of the episode it gets real old, real fucking quick. also stop playing the same fucking piano tracks over and over, and add a track to the OST that has more than a single instrument. if it wasn't for the fact that it had an ending, albeit a fucking annoying - I'm fucking the child - ending, then yeah I'd be down. it's weird how this age gap story weirded me the fuck out, but something like gal gohan doesn't. probably because the fucking show was just so unbelievably cringy, and waaaaaay too oversexualizing of the teenage girl. like damn, I felt like an ecchi show is less creepy with how they sexualize young girls. I ended up having to watch the final episodes at 3x speed. good premise but dogshit execution. also, if someone's reading this in the future - who the fuck is joe nuts?

i didn't care for shit about the boring generic isekai world, went into the show expecting it to be about the guy in the real world, so i was pretty fucking let down it was just a boring isekai slog with an overpowered protagonist. there's also no fucking risk to anything because you know it's gonna turn out well in the end since everything is a flashback, so the serious moments are just dreadful to watch

This show was heavily carried by the animation. I've listened to the entire soundtrack once because I ha dremembered it ot be pretty good. Turns out I remembered wrong. There's like 5 good tracks out of 40, the rest sounds the exact same. I have 0 reason to carre about any of these characters, except maybe mechamaru, he was the only one with an interesting story, that kinda made you care. But I just don't give a shit about Itadori or any of the other people, which makes them fighting pretty boring. It's like every fight is that one introduction fight in every battle shounen where the main character has to beat up some bad guy (because otherwise the 6 year old weekly shounen slop readers would lose their attention span, if they had to read dialogue) before you even learn anything about the protag, so you don't really give a shit about the outcome you just watch the fight.

The story is also just zzzzzzz it feels like the most generic shounen shit ever. Like it's the shit MHA or Black Clover gets dogged on for doing (except now I guess people think it's amazing even though it's still just shounen slop (BC is still a fun show tho)).

Also what the fuck is wrong with Gege??? The powers are so fucking boring, the only one with like an interesting power is Nobara. Itadori was kinda interesting when his power had lag, but they never really did much with that shit, and then he just "fixed it." Like Gege gets a good idea, but the execution is just ass. Like Nanami seems interesting but he never does shit with it, and it's sorta just an invisible thing where you just hit the guy. Or megumi makes shadow puppets and then summons creatures, but ummm actualyy, he can only summon like 4 or 5 different ones. Like he is literally just a fucking normal ass summoner from any RPG with 5 spells, huge fucking fumble.

It's fun to watch, but without good animation thanks to mappas slaves in their basement, this show would be a 4 or 5

a lot of the humor wore off. the jokes are getting kinda stale at this point, however story progression was nice. especially for ishigami
