Anime Relations: Boogiepop wa Warawanai

I have unfortunately started a new project where I watch the most popular anime from every season, starting from winter 2000. Why? I don't know.

I have a few rules, firstly, no long anime (50+ episodes), only one per every 2 years. Also, no remakes or season 2s.

Now! Onto winter of 2000s most popular anime... Boogiepop Phantom! My brief review of this show would be: impeccable aesthetics and vibes, but not entirely a perfect experience. I would perhaps need a rewatch to make more sense of certain aspects.

The anime itself? Good! I really enjoyed it. It's really effective in its storytelling and weaving together plot points that seem unrelated. In full: good, yet... Kinda confusing?

8/10!

Next Up: Spring 2000's.. Love Hina. I am not looking forward to it
