I've been a fan of the series after watching the anime 2 years ago. Although it was great, the ending left me wondering if I missed anything. Turns out, spin-offs came with the series, so I just forgot about them. 2 years later, I wanted to wrap up Rurouni Kenshin, and so I'm starting from the beginning, the Manga.

Haven't finished it yet, but after viewing many top manga sites, Rurouni Kenshin sits at the top of the list somewhere. If the manga is so highly praised, there should be no reason not to jump right in.

Vaguely reminded of the anime, I wanted to bypass a few arcs since the manga is 255 chapters. But sticking with the first 47 chapters is worth the wait for the Kyoto Arc. Anyways, I wanted to compile an accurate list that would mark all the arcs in Rurouni Kenshin. So here it is (legend below):

RUROUNI KENSHIN
================================================
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
================================================
TOKYO SAGA (47)
============================
08 ------ Himura Kenshin Arc
06 ------ Kurogasa Arc
16 ------ Oniwabanshuu Arc
14 ------ Raijuuta Arc
03 ------ Seikihoutai Army Revival Arc

KYOTO SAGA (104)
============================
08 ------ Saitou Arc
18 ------ Journey to Kyoto Arc
23 ------ Arrival in Kyoto Arc
38 ------ Juppongatana Arc
12 ------ Makoto Shishio Arc
05 ------ Kyoto Epilogue Arc

JINCHUU SAGA (104)
============================
13 ------ Enishi Arc
15 ------ Remembrance Arc
28 ------ Jinchuu Arc
27 ------ Reflection Arc
17 ------ Retaliation Arc
04 ------ Epilogue

The numbers sitting next to the name of the arc is the chapter amount.

Out of = 110 Episodes

Unfortunately, I don't agree with some of this list, more on that, this is only the top 25% from all the episodes that has currently been broadcast. All in all though, these are definitely top notch episodes from a top notch series. I will continue updating this list until the series concludes.

The scores will probably change over time I'm guessing, and Gintama just seems to soar in its ranks. Uchuu Kyoudai isn't for everyone, not very popular, but it definitely deserves a spot on this list.
