Guns only bring unbalance to the world.
It's way easier to reach for a gun and shoot then it's by useing a sword.
In a gun fight there is no grace, no buty and ALMOST no skill.
You aim.
You shoot.
And either You hit or miss the target.
But then You simply aim again. (Or in case of machineguns You just shoot as long as You hit without even aiming.)
You can learn how to shoot pretty fast but in learning how to use a sword You need to show devotion.
Anyone can handle a gun and kill others.
And when You do it You don't even feel it when You kill something because it's too easy.
When something comes too easy You become to be overconfident.
This is realted to pride, and pride in too big amount is a bad thing.
That's why it's considered as one of the seven deadly sins.
And to say the truth it's the worst sin of them all in my opinion.
You can be pridefull only when You should be, when You achive something thanks to Your knowledge, strenght, wisdom, endurance, patience and devotion to what You're doing, not just becaouse You can kill someone (or something) whenever You want.
With the sword this matter isn't the same.
You need to stand Your ground, look into the eyes of anyone who is close in front of You and You need to wager Your life on everything You have learned so far about the art of the sword.

I know I probably am a hopeless romantic but that's how I see this thing.
