I doubt you're ever gonna see this but I just wanted to say your comment about the bird flying through the window on episode 28 of Oniisama e... really made me laugh ~

My apologies, I always try to spoil but with old shows I sometimes forget. Though it is closing the barn door after the horses, I will go fix that.

That's the first time I see profile of someone who has "extremely high" compatibility with me. It's saying something, as I tend to watch borderline stuff a lot. Peace out, girl.

Also, you have a ton of entries on here......I respect that.

Maybe. I might follow you on there, not sure if you follow me. I found out about your MAL through your conversation with tehloneranger (we're good friends outside of the interwebs).

Oh wow...half of 2013 has already passed by.
RL has been rather harsh and vicious towards me. Especially with work...I have been working a lot of long unpredictable hours recently.

But anyways, how are things with you?
I assume that you're currently still in school?

The cons that I have been to have all been enjoyable in their own ways.
This week, I will be heading to my fifth one of this year.
Oh hmm, did you ever attend the June con that took place in your area?

My year has been rather lazy and tiring for the most part.
In my spare time, I mostly just engage in dancing and those random con raids that I have been talking about.

How many anime figurines have you collected so far?
I never personally collected any myself. Although in the past, when me and my brother were younger, we did collect a few together.

Kiur | Apr 24, 2013 4:51 AM
Hello old friend, we havent talked for quite a long time.. my fault as i havent bee useing this site for chatting, trying to change that now, so how have you been :)

Jets | Jan 27, 2013 1:11 AM
No worries about the late response. And like 3 months later....
RL has been rather frantic and tiring for me as of late. I haven't had much time to catch my breath in general. There were times in which I wished I could just sleep all day and do absolutely nothing.
So how is your new semester so far? And oh yeah, have you managed to find a job?

As for my exams, since I messed up with signing up for too many sections in the given time span, it was basically like me throwing away money. I was nowhere close to being ready to taking that many sections since there are still a lot of material that I need to study and review badly.
Other than work, I haven't been doing much except trying to improve my exam prepping. When I'm not doing either of those things, I've been going to some random cons. I've gone to like 2 of them since we last spoke, and I currently have like 4 or 5 others planned for the rest of this year.

Oh ok. I have been to New York several times in my life-time. I have been to San Diego Comic Con a few times, but not to the New York one.
So anyways, how has the new year been for you so far?

No problem with the late responses. My responses to many people have been ridiculously delayed in general. A lot of them take anywhere from around 1-2 weeks on average.

I remember hearing about Princess Tutu when I watched Elfin Lied. It seemed interesting, but based on my current situation, it's not at the top of my priority list.

Oh yeah, the best conventions in America take place in California. Many people who live on the East Coast say this is the case.
It's kind of unusual since Aussie-Land is closer to Japan compared to the Western US.

Wow, that's really lame that you got released from that coffee shop with no apparent reason(s).
Any update(s) on your job hunting?

Mmm yeah, group assignments often cannot be done last-second. I ran into that issue in the past, and each time it happened, it was really painful and not fun at all.
It'll be great that you can work full time after this current semester ends.
Do you think it will be easy to find a library job?

For your driving supervision, who has been supervising you while you log those 25 driving hours?

As for me, I have been tired non-stop for at least the past few weeks. Recently, I just got recalled by my boss to go back to the 2nd work location to help out with accounting stuff. I have to go there at least 2 times per week currently. Since it's further from my house compared to my main office, I have to get up even earlier for that which has been painful. And for my exam prepping, it hasn't been going too well in general.

On day 3, I went to 3 panels: Madhouse, Steve Blum, and some fashion show.
I tried to get an autograph from Yuki Kajiura, but unfortunately many of us weren’t able to.
The main event of the day was the LiSA concert. This was particularly significant, because it was her official USA debut.
Then in the night, I went to 2 hotel parties to cap off the final night of AX.

So here is the set list of the LiSA concert:

Heya, thanks for your feedback on that manga thread :) I was wondering about Angel Densetsu, because most people seem to say the art isn't great and really detracts from what is otherwise a great story. Would you agree?

Adolf doesn't look like the usual thing I'd read, but the story intrigues me. I'll get round to it at some point :)

Oh yeah, no problem. That's fine. Take your time.
For me, work has been killing me lately, and I'm trying to put in more effort with prepping my exam, but so far, I feel I haven't really improved on that.

Since that was actually only Day 1 at the Expo that I told you about, it would seem that I was indifferent about the con overall.
But for the rest of the days, I actually spent far more time at the con itself. It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I attended it.
In fact, on the final day (Day 4), I booked a premier pass using one of the computers at the con center. The price unfortunately got increased from $100 to $125 for next year.

The only merchandise I purchased there was the Lover's Mile CD by LiSA. It was $30, but I decided ' oh well...' since I wasn't planning to go crazy with buying stuff unlike other people who I met up with.
I'm just at the age in which I don't think it's practical for me to buy and stuff a bunch of random stuff in my room.

So on day 2, I went to 3 panels: Vocaloid, Madoka Magica, and LiSA.
The main thing of the day was the Yuki Kajiura (FictionJunction) concert.
I also went to the con dance in the night (albeit briefly).
Then the rest of the day/night is probably pretty obvious.

So here is the set list of the Yuki Kajiura (FictionJunction) concert:

Yep, I think it would be cheaper to import the DVD's from America. But waiting for sales is often key for people who are on budgets.

Haha yeah. Procrastination is often our worst enemy in general. Falling behind with studies is often a nightmare.

I would say the rest of my con days kept getting better.
I called the taxi company to complain about him, but I have yet to hear back from them. I've basically given up, since Americans in general are rude and always place the blame on someone else.

Here's part 2 of my Expo adventures: (Friday 6/29)
