It was really good. The abilities of the characters and the political tension only add to the thriller aspect of the show. Since we are placed in the viewpoint of the protagonist, there is much anticipation in the actions/decisions being made. All in all, I place it in my top 5 anime of all time. Simply because it checks off all points I can enjoy in an anime: abilities, mechs, tension, complex characters, and developed storyline.
